Binta and the great idea

Setting- Village in Senegal

Conflict- Binta's cousin, Soda was refused of going to school by his father. His father thinks that women in Africa should not go to school. working, take care of the house, children, and taking care of the field was what her father believed that women should do.

Climax- The kids who go to school preform a play which is based on Soda's life experience and compensate her  urge to go to school. When seeing this, the villagers agrees with the kids and put pressure on Soda's father to let her go to school.

Symbol- Bird a symbol of freedom and a messenger, The watch represents urban technology and admiration to the European country.

Theme-  The teacher's words "we are all the same and need to look out for each other."
