Binta and the great idea
Setting - a village in Senegal
Conflict - Binta's cousin, Soda wants to go to school and study, but her father doesn't let her besause he thinks women in Aflica dont' need education. He thinks women should stay home and do house work.
Climax - the children in the village participate in a play about a girl who wants to go to school, and change soda's father's mind. Soda is finally allowed to go to school .
Symbol - the bird represents freedom
Theme - everyone is equal and have a right to be educated
