Binta and the Great Idea

I thought that this movie has many messages to us. This story is taking place at Senegal, and Binta is the main character of this movie. She is small but lively child and she really loves studying. I think the most important message is from what Binta's father said, "Everyone has a chance to study." Because of the custom, Binta's cousin couldn't go to school, the reason is she is a girl. Binta made a play with her friends and showed to many adults and their parents. At the end of the story, Binta's cousin pleaded to her father to go to school. Many other people approved of her and I think Binta's would be allowed to go to school.
In this movie, many scenes of flying birds were there. I think that this depiction means that "freedom" in the world. People who lives with old customs were hard to live, but this movie tells that we should be free from those regulation. Birds embodies this expression and tell us that studying freely is so precious and greattreasure for us.
