setting: It could be anytime. This story happened in far away country where didn't let people have illusions.
conflict: fancy versus reality / the boy versus police officers
climax: the boy couldn't give up to have fancy. He escaped from prison, and he took the mermaid fish to sea. He putted the fish into the sea, also he went into the sea. Maybe, he died.
symbol: Aquarium is a symbol of reality. Mermaid is symbol of fancy.
irony: When he went back to his home from prison, he couldn't mermaid in the aquarium. He didn't give up to image fancy, but he was already changed by police officers. And then, he wasn't accepted in the country. So he killed him by himself. This is irony of this book.
theme: Fancy can't surpass reality.
