Yusuke Habu: news article Japanese students' rank falls in reading, rises in science

Good evening, everyone.

For last week blog entry, I have explained why students score math and science higher than before.

However, today, I would like to talk about why students didn't score reading more than before.

I think that is because probably we nowadays have the tendency to find out the answer quickly.

Probably this is created by the rising number of cram schools. Cram schools teachs us how to solve

the problem related to the test, not to think deeply about one big topic or material.
