Family doctor

I just went to my family doctor,

and so, after I arrived at the hospital,
I was called and I went inside the examination room,
and the doctor was like,

Oh! Your not Ms. Hayashi,
I must've mistaken.

He was so surprised when I said that
I was actually the Ms. Hayashi he was expecting.

I guess I looked so different with my glasses on.

finally back

I was in Karuizawa during this vacation, and have got no studying done...I have 2 finals, and the presentation tomorrow...we just got back home at 1 a.m. ... I will pull up an all-nighter if I can! Hope you guys had better luck with study!! And good luck on your presentations tomorrow!

Preparing for exams

Starting this Saturday exams will begin... and I haven't done much preparation yet.

I've been studying for my exam starting in about week or so, but I don't have the feeling that I'm going to do well. Anyone good at memorizing things?

My leg

When I have a moment sitting down,
I feel a numb pain on my leg,
I look at it,
and I find a new bruise.
My leg has a lot of bruises now
but I have no clue where I got them.
Weird...

Exams

I don't think I'll be able to survive for the next two weeks because of the upcoming exams and reports... I know it's not good but I have a feeling that I want to have fun. Yes, if I do go out and play, I might end up failing some classes so I can't take that risk but still, I want to have fun! I regret so much with my studying habits. ...does anyone want to go to Disneyland with me? ( just kidding)

Korean

Final exam of Korean is scheduled this Saturday! I still haven't done any preparation yet.

Ways to memorize

I have just studied  for the exam this Friday of British literature, and read a research saying that rereading and highlighting are among the most inefficient ways to memorize, and what I have done was merely reread the highlighted parts. 😂
Anyway, how do you memorize these things?

Health benefits of matcha powder

Did you know that matcha powder has soooooo many benefits to our body? Some of you guys maybe saw that I was drinking some strange green liquid today and that was the original matcha drink that I made：）Matcha powder is good for loosing weight by drinking before the wrkout and it is also good for protecting your skin from UV damage. I forgot other health benefits but you guys should definitely try including some matcha in your diets 💕

Final exam is coming up soon and I haven't studied anything.

Spanish

I'm having a hard time with my Spanish.
How can I understand Spanish grammer when I can't understand English grammer?

I've been sick for a while now but I'm getting better :) My voice still sounds weird and I can't hit the high notes:( I'm still debating if I should go to URC's practice today or go home and have some rest..

American literature test

Yesterday I had my American literature test and I really wish I did well. I studied with Saya on the phone for about three hours so I wish she did well on the test too :)

Final exams

I am so worried about the upcoming tests! I know I have to study but I don't know where to start...
On the examination week I only have three tests, but I have a lot more on the week before. Is everybody the same in this department?

Survey

In the IE core class, our group is taking survey about intercultural marriage. There were some unexpected answers and interesting results, so I can't wait to present them to class! I'm also excited to hear about other groups' survey results.

Chinese class

Sometimes I wonder how I learned to speak English. Now I'm taking Chinese class, and it's super difficult I can't even say "This is a pen" in Chinese. Don't ask me why I chose Chinese. Exams coming up next week I'm definitely gonna die. exhausted.

My voice...

I got vocal cord polyps since last year's summer and finally decided to take surgery to cure this up. I'm scared but on the other hand so excited to have my original voice back and sing freely! take me to karaoke after I got better:)

Last Tuesday

On the 4th, after school, I went to a release event of my loving artist Fairies. It was at Tower Records Shibuya's B1 studio.
What was surprising was that I got the ticket for the center of the first row!!!  It was fantastic!!! The members were sooo close and they gave so much "fan-service" looking strait in my eyes.😍
This is why I can't stop being a groupie.

When on a trip

ever had that feeling during family trip abroad you just wanna lay down and watch tv all day though it's a family trip? like the good old days? just like those days when you come home turn on fox or nickelodeon or Disney or whatever... I miss those shows😢

Today was very hot.

I always listen to my iPod, like 24/7. Is this normal? I think it is. No music, no life.

35 degrees Celsius is not a condition human can live!
Maybe we can survive but it is too hot to do anything.

I had lacrosse practise today and to be honest I thought I was going to die.............

English Central is really hard and it takes a lot of time to finish it!!!!!

Hot

why is it so hot? I really hate the weather. I can't stay up all night to finish my homework in this hot and humid weather and I sweat and... it's just not good at all.

I've tried all the flavors of pure gumi but my favorite one is mascot. I really like the texture of it.

Meaning of Ku Klux Klan

Mirei talked about historical events when talking about the background of her book report book, and there is where the word came up. We talked about the meaning behind this name, and I wonder if the name has any meaning at all. The internet gives answers like the following, The name was formed by combining the Greek kyklos (κυκλος, meaning circle) with clan. The group was known for a short time as the "Kuklux Clan." 

Qixi and Tanabata

As both Japanese and Chinese people follow similar traditional events on the same day, I assume Qixi and Tanabata the same festival. Though Qixi and many other traditional festival still follow the date of lunar calendar. I wonder how was Japan's lunar calendar like.

Fourth of July

I found a shop saying "Happy Fourth of July"
and thought it was so weird.
Why should Japanese celebrate that day?
Then I realized that it was just an excuse to do a sale.
There was a loooong queue that day and I think they earned the most in this year.

Hangesho

Do you celebrate hangesho? It is the last seed- sowing and rice- planting day and this year it was the 2nd of July.

I was told that you eat octopus on that day and in Kansai, you eat a sweet called minazuki.

In a city of advertisement, there is a waiter  working in a diner, two kids on a field trip.

It seemed like a peaceful day, but then there was a robbery and the police chased the burglar. The burglar smashed the car he was driving into the diner and got the two kids as hostage. The police tried to shoot him and the burglar got mad and started to shoot back and the kids were able to escape. Then there was a huge earthquake and the waiter ran with the kids leaving the city that is ripping apart.

This film is making fun about our life filled with commercial and the director thinks that we can't go on having this kind of society of capitalism and it is collapsing.

I am so worried about the finals. I am worried about the tests and the final projects. French class is difficult for me and I have no idea what they are alking about in English grammar class. Too much things to concern about.

School Festival

Good afternoon, how was your weekend?
Yesterday, I went to the school festival held in my high school.
I haven't met my classmates since March, so it was great seeing them.
I was surprised by how much they've become so adultlike in few months!

My throat hurts so badly that I can't talk. I can't speak a word. Hot honey lemon tea is not helping at all...

I went to Tama Campus of Hosei University. It took me two and half an hour. Too far away from home. I have to do the book report.

Today, I went to Shinjuku Gyoen. It was a wonderful place to visit. I never knew there was such a beautiful place in Shinjuku.
I turned the air conditioner on when I got home.

How my morning starts

My every morning is very different from all of you. 

First, I wake up at 4:00. 

Then I get all my stuff ready.

Eat breakfast in 5 minutes.

Ride 4:58 train, which is the first train.

At 6:00 practice lacrosse.

At 9:30 Get all my stuff ready

Ride 10:06 train to Shibuya. 

Start my class.

I can't believe how time flies so fast!! I've already posted something like this in this blog, ok, maybe this topic is all I ever post in the blog but I really feel it! Hahaha It's like I wake up and go to school on monday  and the next thing I know it's already friday..😝

This week I piled up too much laundry... Gotta get through with them, meal prep for the first half of the week, and work on my homework💨  (The last is the hardest.)

Momochi

I can't believe yesterday was her last day as an idol. I wasn't her biggest fan but I admire me her as a person. It's sad I won't be able to see her from today but I like the way how she decided to make her dream become true. All I could say is the word thank you.
