For winter vacation

I don't have much plans for winter vacation, but I am excited to spend my time with my high school friends at the karaoke for over night. We don't see each other a lot after graduating, so I'm very happy to see them. But I'm also nervous about the exam of the driving school. Since it bothers me all the time,  I want to finish commuting there as soon as possible.

Cold weather

With the cold seasons, it seems people with poor health are increasing. As for my self, these days I'm not feeling so well because of the cold weather. But soon the winter vacation is going to start, so for the rest of the school I want to try my best, and I hope everybody has their best conditions too.

Ghibli Museum

On the first week of December, I had a oppotunity to visit the Ghibli museum. At the Ghibli museum, we could see how the movies were made. Not only to see how the movies were made, the museum was very beautiful. I am sorry that I could not show how it was, since it was not able to take photos, but if you have interests of the museum, I recommend you to visit there.

Shoppings

Shibuya Book・off is one of my favorite place to go shopping.
You can get second handed books and CDs and etc there, but one of the biggest reason I like it is because of the low price. I bought three CDs and it didn't cost more than 1000yen. When I find something unexpected like old CDs that we can't see in CD shops, it makes me happy, and I think that is one of the enjoyable thing of going to second handed stores.

one of my bff

Hello! This is Nami again.
I'm going to talk about one of my best friends.
She had been in Hawaii to study for this 7 month, and finally she's coming back for holiday in Japan!
I'm so excited to see her and to sing lots of songs by Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Jason Mraz, Train, and some popular singers. She plays the guitar very well.
Not having brought it to Hawaii, she might become a little bit poor at playing it though.
Anyway, I hope her safe flight!

straps

Hello! This is Nami.
Do you guys hang on to straps every time you get on trains?
I rarely hold them because... they don't seem clean, do they?
Nevertheless, I had to because of some troubles in this morning.
A few minutes after I hung on to a strap, I felt something wrong.
I'd not cared so much at first, but was feeling uncomfortable.
My arm was cramped. That was it.
As soon as I got it, let my arm be free.
I've decided never to rely on straps.

Today's IE class

We had a Christmas party in today's IE listening class.
It is very fun to have parties with my classmates and teacher.
I really think I was lucky that I could be one of the members of this IE class and want to take the same classes with them in the next semester!

second harvest

The last Friday was my first time to know about the second harvest.
I was really surprised to hear about it.
Though I was very impressed that he said he just connected the left overs and people who need them.
I realized that sometimes people can make a wonderful difference just by doing something very simple.
However, noticing those things are very difficult, I thought.
Listening to that kind of great person's lecture was one of the most precious experience I have ever had.

My New Laptop PC

Last Sunday I got new laptop PC with 11000 yen.  It was very expensive but this has really good spec so I think I can concentrate on some of the assignment so I am look forward to get one before I get use to it.  My new one is very light so it is easy to bring and the design is very cool!!

I acutually...

Last week wee had presentation from Second Harvest.  At last he asked us that anybody interested in NPO.  I was actually interested in NPO little bit but nobody raised their hand so I couldn't raise my hand either because of my shyness.  Furthermore I am interested in them but I really don't know about them.  I hope sometime I can research about them.

Christmas parties

I had two christmas party in this week.
The first one was in Tuesday, and I drunk too much and...
you can imagine what happened next....... so I just skip that.
and the second christmas party was today's!
It was the IE Listening class, and we had a christmas party and we all enjoyed it very much.
We talked a lot about the Christmas day, love, the history of Christmas and so on.
it was fun but I felt a little sad cause it was the last class of 2013.
I also feel sad because after tomorrow, we cannot see each other about two weeks!:(((

a belated post of Mantis Parable

I'm so sorry to forget to post this.
I was too busy working on the second book report, and this is my excuse. :(
Then here is the belated post of Mantis parable!

A mantis, a caterpillar, a butterfly and fire flies.

-Summary
There was a caterpillar which was caught by a human, and he tried to escape from the bottle so hard, but it didn't work well. One day, a mantis came and caterpillar asked to help him, but a mantis rejected it. However, a mantis was caught by a human who also caught a caterpillar. A mantis found himself in the bottle, and he recalled that he was so mean to a caterpillar, and fell into a desperation. Then, a butterfly came into the room with many fire flies, and kindly they helped a mantis to escape from the bottle.

-Irony
A mantis was so mean to a caterpillar, but a caterpillar remembered him and after became a butterfly he went to help a mantis.

Going back to my hometown

Tomorrow, I am going to attend "Bonenkai" my circle.
However, I really don't want to go.
That's because there are no class on Mondays and it means every Monday is holiday, so tomorrow is last day I have to come before winter vacation starts.
Without it, I could go back after fifth class.

I regretted replying with easy mind before. I hope to go back to my hometown as soon as possible.
But, it will not bad, so I will enjoy it.

French lanch

Last Sunday, I went to eat French lunch with my friend in high school.
Its price was 1900 yen, considering other French prices, it was very kind price!

I ate salad with salmon, pumpkin soup, steak with demiglace sauce and a tiramisu.
I often eat Italian, but I rarely eat French, It was very fresh for me.
After eating lunch, I go to her house and watched a DVD of Romeo and Juliet played by Takaraduka, because she was a fan of it.
Then she made Houjitya-Latte for me, it was very similar to Starbucks' one.

Cards

In this season many people askes their friends what they are going to do for christmas. We were asked that question in today's writing class. Some spend their christmas working and some are going back to their home own. For me, Christmas is not a kind of special day so I don't have anything to do (but I still want Christmas presents).
I draw many New Year Cards every year and I'm really busy working on that...　I think I'll spend my Christmas drawing. I want my friends to enjoy their Christmas on their own way. People who can trade a New Year Card with me please let me know:)

Pokemon Center

I went to Pokemon Center with my friend from highschool last Saturday.
I really wanted to buy a small bag of Pokemon so we decided to go there one hour before open.
It is quite interesting that there is a line infront of Pokemon Center every weekends. It means that many people are trying to get what they really want. There are many people who plays Pokemon game infront of Pokemon Center too. I could get what I wanted on that day so I'm using it now, I keep my painting set inside. I can't imagine when I'm going to quit Pokemon.

my sickness

Hi, this is Karuna. Most of the IE family know, I have a bad cold for about two weeks. I went to the hospital two times, and finally it is getting better now. I want to enjoy the time with everyone before the winter vacation, so I  want to get rid of this cold perfectly as soon as possible. Thank you for concerns everyone!!! I want to go out with you guys and have a dinner too!

Hello! This is Nami.

Do you guys know what tbt means?  

It stands for “throw back Thursday.”

On Thursday, people can remember, feel nostalgic for, or miss something happened in the past. 

On twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and any other social network services, you could see a lot of pictures tagged with a tag of #tbt.

In my tbt, I remember thousands of memories in this summer. Especially in Oxford. My stay was just for three weeks, but it was filled with thousands of moments I was impressed by something new. I miss everything. 

Of course, I'm having lots of fun in Japan thanks to my friends!

Though I usually take trains alone, it is great time to have a friend to talk with during such a long trip to home for an hour.

deconditioning

There are some people who have been feeling bad in this class these days.
I actually had a headache yesterday during my club activity.
We need to take good care of ourselves since it is getting cold!
My headache has gone now and I am feeling fine.
I hope everyone in my class gets better soon :)

Being a morning person

Today, I was working on my book report over a cup of coffee in Starbucks coffee shop as listening to music of Mozart. And there was a  hansome foreign man whose hair was blond across from me and he made me very happy. He used a notebook computer of an apple computer and weared glasses.  I felt he was very cool.
It was very elegant time!

I have only one class every Wednesday, so I usually go back to my home and take a nap, but I decided to change my life cycle, so I spent a day differently.

Last Monday, I went to bet at 3 o'clock in the morning and I got up at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
Even I felt that spending these life was dangerous, because I got more and more lazy, then I decided to change my life style.

Today was meaningful and I felt a being morning person is better than being a night person.
Besides, being morning person gives me more time to sleep!
I hope to keep such a life style for a long time...

Sleepover at friend's house

On this weekend, I slept over at my friend's house.

She is friend from the circle IAESTE. We talked on and on all the night. We also watched DVD called "Tosyokann sennsou(図書館戦争）" It was really good movie that made me almost cry and ,what is more, the main actor Junichi Okada was really really cool and brilliant. I recommend you to see it.

Anyway, I had a good time at friend's house and want to sleep over again.

19th birthday!!!!

I will talk about my lovely 19th birthday.

It was last Friday, 6th of December and I turned to 19 years old. That birthday was one of my most memorable and happiest day. I got many birthday message through Facebook or LINE from my friends. I got many lovely birthday presents as well.

I realized how happy I am to have lovely friends and family. I could not be here and be 19 years old if it was not for people's support. I really thank them and want to make this year wonderful and frutiful!!!

broken smart phone

My smart phone broke down last night. I was using the face book application and suddenly it freeze. I did not know what to do so I went to bed hoping it will be fine in the morning. However, it was not working when I woke up this morning. So I decided to go to the nearest docomo shop. I tried to use my phone forgetting that it was broken. I noticed how convenient it is and how much I was relying on to it. I turned on my computer and looked for the shop. There was one next to my nearest station. I went there in the morning and it was fine. I can use it with no problem now, but my phone is the only way I can communicate with my family, so I was really worried when it was broken. I hope it would not happen again.

TOEIC

Tomorrow, I'm going to receive a TOEIC Engrish test, but I have not prepared for it these days, so now I am very nervous.

When my mother called me and always asked to me "Did you study for a TOEIC English test"?, I answered "I did, I did..."
But, it was actually a lie.
I practiced some times by answering questions for those who would receive TOEIC tests in the Internet, however I could not get high score.

But, tomorrow, I would have finished my duty, so I would do my best.

Mantis Parable

Summary
There was a caterpillar in the bottle. He was caught by a human and he wanted to get out from the bottle because that the human would change him into specimen. One day, a mantis came into the room, so the caterpillar tried to ask him for help. However, the mantis laughed at him. When the mantis was leaving he was caught by a human too. After that, the butterfly and fireflies came into the room and helped the mantis to get out.
Irony
The mantis teased the caterpillar but mantis himself was been caught too.
Even if the caterpillar was treated unkindly by the mantis, the caterpillar helped the mantis at last.

progress of book report

Hello! This is Nami.
I'm going to write about my progress of book report.
I've been reading And then there were none.
Though I had thought the story was too complicated for me to read, because there were ten main characters, I found out it was interesting as reading forward.
To my surprise, I'm really expecting the next one who is going to be sent to his/her death as reading.
What a cruel person I am!
Many people who enjoy such a novel would fell the same though.

the mantis parable

Hello! This is Nami.
I'm going to write about the short movie we saw, Mantis parable.

A caterpillar in a bottle, who had been caught by a boy collecting insects, wanted to get out of it because of the fear of being made into a specimen as the other insects on the wall.
When he was almost giving up, a mantis appeared, which seemed to the caterpillar that he would be a help.
However, the mantis was to kill and eat him.
Then, the boy came into the room, found the mantis, and caught him.
At the end, the caterpillar who had turned to a beautiful butterfly helped him with fireflies.

I found two ironies in the story.
First, the mantis had been free when he entered the room, and made fun of the caterpillar in a bottle, but he was caught by the human boy soon afterward.
Second, though the mantis even had tried to kill the caterpillar, the caterpillar tried to help the mantis in the same situation.

MLP

I don't know why but I'm really into the cartoon "My Little Pony".
This cartoon can be seen every Tuesday from 7:30am and I always watch this before going to the school. However, this is American cartoon so I try to watch the series in English. The characters' voices sound nicer in English than Japanese.
The songs in the cartoon are very nice and I listen them a lot these days. English used in this cartoon is quite easy (because its little girls' cartoon), so if you are interested please watch and let's talk about it together!!!!!!!

Mantis Parable

Summary
The caterpillar was caught in a cup waiting for someone to help. Then the mantis appeared but he didn't help the caterpillar. However, a shadow of human appeared in front of the mantis and mantis got caught in a cup like caterpillar.
The mantis regrets what he did to the caterpillar. He waited for a help like the caterpillar did and one day a butterfly flew into the room. With magical fire flies the butterfly rescued mantis to get out of the room.

Irony
After mantis being so mean to the caterpillar, the caterpillar rescued the mantis at last.
Also, I really thought that the matis would eat the caterpillar at first.

Summary
At first caterpillar was caught by the human and he tryed to escape from the bottle.  However it did not work, so he was declining.  After the a while the mantis was came into the house.   Catapillar asked him for the help but mantis did not help him or even he told him to die with sign.  However when mantis was stand on there human captured him.  Then after the while butterfly probably was the catapllar that caought came into the house and helped mantis with firefly.

Irony
 Mantis usually eats　butterfry but in this story butterfly help him in opposite. 
Another irony is that Caterpillar could escape because he couldn't fry if he could probably there was a cap like mantis.  Therefore it was irony that mantis could fry so he couldn't escape but Caterpillar could because he could not fry.

my favorite food

      My one of the favorite food is gyoza especially gyoza in Ousho.  They are not too expensive and very delicious.   One of the set is like 500or 900 yen with fried rice , rice , soup , and 10 gyozas.  I ate that like 20 times or more when I was in high school.  I hope I can go there again.

In the weekend

Last weekend, I was nearly to cry because I met a model who I  had really respected. With all due respect, I was able to talk with her. How lucky I was, and I feel I don't need anything more. She was very kind, and a very polite person. I want to be a person like her...

TDL&sleepover

 Yesterday, I went to Disney Sea with my friend, Shoko. We went there after my first period. My favorite attraction was Toy Story Mania. We wore 3D glasses and we were supposed to hit the target with a gun and aim a high score. However, I experienced Tower of Terror for the first time. It was so frightening that I was almost going to die. I will never go on it again. After we left TDS, I went to Shoko's house and we had a sleepover. We chatted a lot until morning.  I spent a very  fun time with Shoko !!  We are going to  hang  out  this Saturday too!

One day, a mantis flies by the caterpillar. The caterpillar asks the mantis to help him, but the mantis refuses it. But when the mantis was leaving, he was also been caught and was put in a bottle too. Then he reminds of himself being uncooperative and forsaking the caterpillar. But at the end, the mantis was saved by the caterpillar that had began an butterfly.

However the mantis was unpleasant to the caterpillar, the caterpillar helped the mantis in when the mantis was in the same situation.

Minato-kun

I love reading as comics as books.
Yesterday, I bought four comics, so I was very happy to read many comics!
I bought two boys comics and two girls comics, so it was good ratio.

The comic which I was most exicited was "rere halo (in Japanese words, Re Re ハロ)". It is a girl comic.
A boy in appeared in it is very coooooooool!
His name was Minato, I think the his name itself is bery cool, too. The name itself showed how he was cool.
He is a son of a very rich man and a little whimsical.
He didn't want do trouclesome things, for example, when he went shopping for clothings, he said to a cleark "I wanted all clothings around here and please send my house..."
I have not felt envy for rich people, but when I saw the scene, I thought rich man was very cool for the first time.

I know that it was not easy to meet very handsome men like Minato, but I cannnot hope to meet someone like Minato. I am childish!

Summary
At first, a caterpillar was captured and confined in a bottle.
One day, a mantis came there from a window which was opened and he said to a caterpillar "You would die" with an uncomfortable gesture.
But, after doing such a thing, a mantis was captured! The person who captured him had a hobby of collecting insects and making samples, so he feared and regretted behaving unkindly to a caterpillar.
However, a butterfly came there and called his or her friends. Then, they opened a lid of a bottle and rescued him. The caterpillar which grew up to a butterfly came to rescue him!

Irony
A mantis behaved unkindly to a caterpillar and he did not try to rescue him or her.
But it was a caterpillar to rescue him when he was in trouble.

allowance!

I received allowances from my mother yesterday!
There were stuffs I asked her to send me.
To my surprise, there were vegetable juice, and some snacks, too.
The happiest allowance was mandarin oranges!
Since Shizuoka prefecture is one of the most famous prefecture of mandarin oranges, I had them every year and I really love them!
I had not expected to see them in the allowance, so I was very happy :)
With these stuffs my mother send me, I think I can survive this month lol

about today

I went to buy some present for my boyfriend (sorry girls for hearing this useless information) to Harajuku and Hikarie in Shibuya.
The present is for the christmas present plus 6 months anniversary present plus 7 months's one. So it is really important for me to choose what to give!
I was thinking about the business card case, a pair of gloves, and some leather pencase. But my plan was completely changed, to the bag and gloves. I was looking for the bag which he would like, and I found one and bought it!
Oh I'm really worrying if he will like it or not. ;(
I wish he will really like it!
Everyone who read my journal, please don't tell him anything about my present! (I know there's no one who would tell him about it lol)

My hair

Today, I had my hair cut, and change color.  Next weekend, I will take a photograph for a  coming-of-age celebration, so my hair color changed dark.  I am really satisfied with this hair style now, but I will want to change hair style and color soon.
