I want to talk The Clod, which we watchwed last week.
The theme of this short movie is "Easygoing", I think. That is because even when a tiny creature' s house are involved, the thing will recover while he or she did nothing. In the last part, big creatures lined, but when I think such recovery of the situation, those problem will also be solved while he or she sleep. Therefore, it is important not to too think, but have the easiness on mind.
But I think this creature is a little too easygoing.......

The Clod
I want to write about “The Clod”. The Clod was very interesting story. The clod is mystery creature. They are big one and small one. At first, small clod was eaten by big clod. Small one was entered in big clod’s body. And small clod’s house was entered too. He entered his house, and big clod excreted small one. Small clods was survived, but in the fact, the same thing was repeated……. This story was very interesting. I enjoyed very much.

It is very interesting movie. He is called “banana master”. It was very surprised his technique. He can do many things with banana. For example, he can clean shoes, repair itchy, and fix CD’s hurt. I think he is a banana’s specialist. I cannot think up these things. Also, banana is very useful tool. I have ever thrown away banana’s skin after eating banana, but it has many use. Therefore, we should think banana’s using method.

Hi. I'll talk about two short films that we watched in the previous class.
I think the theme of "The Clod" is that the history is repeated. Though the clod can recover his house from a big clod and return to the out side, he finally finds that the next big clods are coming to him. It represents that the same situation will be repeated.
The irony of "How to use a Banana in Seven Unexpected Ways" is that it is the Banana Master himself that probably messed the room. The Banana Master is a friend of the apartmentguy and the previous night they drunk so much and messed the room. THe next morning, they must clean up the room with bananas on their own. that's the irony.

Japanese culture
Last Friday, we saw a video on two guys explaining words from the Japanese "otaku" culture. The words were "moe," "cosplay," "burikko," and "tsundere." I think the men explained the vocabulary slightly different from how we use it in Japan. I think the definition of "mo-eh" was pretty accurate, and the definition for "cosplay" was something I didn't know about, so I was able to learn something new. The definition of "tsundere" and "burikko" though, was different from how we use it in Japan.
"Burikko" isn't a word we use to express old women trying to look young. We use is when a girl changes their attitude towards men, like they become cute and doesn't show their real selves. They tend to get hated by other girls and personally, I don't think it's a good thing at all.
"Tsundere" does mean icy-hot, but it's more deep than that...I think. It defines people who can't really take advantage of someone's kindness (in a good way) and try to be strong. But every now and then becomes really nice or really generous.

Hi,
Last weekend, I went to 2 days trip for the club I joined. It was the third time to see the members of the club but I was nervous because I never talk to most of them. The members are really friendly that I was surprised that older graders remember every 1st grader's name.
We did make dinner, fireworks, and play games. I felt the time went so fast. It was fun to stay up late with the members. We planned about going to take a trip to foreign countries in summer vacation. I'm so excited! I'm sure it will be a wonderful trip.

About the video Banana Master and the Clod
Good evening every one! Now I'll talk about two videos we watched in the class.

International exchange party
I went international exchange party two weeks ago. It was so fun. There is a lot of foreigners. I made friends. Marie is a Japanese woman who is working at nursing home in Shizuoka. She came to Shinjuku to attend the party on that day. She came the party by herself. I thought she was so active and outgoing. I want to be like Marie. And I also became friends with a man who came from Brazil. He is working at on-line-game company. It was his dream job. He looks enjoying his work. I want to my dream come true, too. So, I thought I have to make an effort for my dream during my college years. The party was good for me. I'll meet with them tomorrow. I can't wait!!

The apartman guy wants to clean up his room immediately, because his parents visit his room the day. However, his room is very messy because of the party of the previous day. Suddenly, the man who attend the party of the previous day wakes up and explains to clean up his room by a banana. Most of ways are useful for cleaning, but some way is not useful for cleaning. For example, a banana heals itching. It is unexpected way to use a banana, but it's not important in the situation. So, I think it's irony. The banana master want to teach him how to clean up his room with a banana, but he also tell the apartman guy unuseful information in the situation. I think his room wouldn't clean up by the time when his parents visit there.

Spring's gone away like a blur...actually I think we've never had spring this year lol.
Anyways, today I'd like to talk about the movie we saw before, called The Clod, and How to use a banana in seven unexpected ways.
The clod was a very cute movie, with no words, but sound. It was about this little blob, getting eaten by a clod, then thrown away. And this repeats on and on. So the blob screams when it sees what coming at it, then after it gets thrown out, it screams again because another clod is right behind it. It was cute, and also funny, but I also thought the blob was a little stupid for not realizing whats happening.
The next video, how to use a banana in seven unexpected ways, was a weird movie, but really useful. I'd like to try it at home sometime. There was a man who appeared in the video who taught all the ways to use bananas, like a banana whiz. This movie tell us even if the accident or trouble happen unfortunately, you can be happy depending on your mind. Why should we be happy? That's because the unpleasant accident occur again and again in your life.

Today, I would like to write about "Banana Master".
This was a short movie that a man called Banana Master, teach a man who had to clean his room. The man had to clean his room because his parents were coming over to his house and he was forgetting about it, so he had no time. Suddenly, Banana Master appears and teach him how to clean his room by using bananas.
I think Banana Master was a fairy of banana. I think fairy is not always a girl.

Alice in Wonderland
On Saturday, I watched Alice in Wonderland. I like Alice the best of all Disney characters, so I have been looking forward to watching it. I could enjoyed it, so I'd like to recommend you.
The story is about 19-years-old Alice. When she ran after a white rabbit, she fell into a hall and wandered into the wonderland called underland. In wonderland, people have been ruled by the red queen. The picture scroll of the land has predicted that the savior, Alice, would appear. So, everyone has waited Alice!! The white queen who used to control the wonderland asked Alice to fight against the red queen in order to recapture the throne. Alice decided to fight against the red queen with mad hatter and her companions…
I was surprised about this story because I haven’t had imagination that Alice fights against someone. This movie tells us two main massages.
First, in the movie, her conflict of mind is described. She has had the good imagination since she was a child. In her imagination, a white rabbit and a caterpillar can speak and she plays with them. She has still such mind of girl but her mother doesn’t understand her imagination. Besides, her mother forces her to meet the partner of a meeting with a view to marriage. Then, she ran away. I think 19-year-old is neither a girl nor a lady. In fact, I’m same old as Alice. Sometimes I’m also perplexed because people consider me as grownup. So I sympathize with Alice so much.
Second, there is the message that we should have strength. At first, Alice was not strong and she didn’t try to fight. But, when she noticed that she was only one who could save people from the red queen, she stood up and fought. If we are needed by someone, we can confront someone or something and we can become strong. In the end of the movie, Alice seemed to me to be more beautiful than her in the beginning. I think the woman who has strength is attractive. I’d like to be a woman such as Alice.

May 15th
Good evening! I went to the concert of Kumi Koda yesterday. Do you know her? All her songs are good and I like her and her songs very much!! In the concert, the audience really enjoyed. Although my seat wasn't near to the stage, I had a pleasant time during the concert♪ There was an event that one of the audiences who was chosen by Kumi's dancers could stand on the stage and could be sung her song sitting next to Kumi. This is an annual event. I wish I would be chosen in the future!

There was the small clod in a small house. It was sleeping soundly. At that time, the very big clod appeared. The small clod was surprised and long screamed. It faced up the big one, but it was caught and eaten. It fell in a stomach and was at a loss. After a while, its house also fell there. Thereupon, it felt easy and began to sleep again. Then it came out of the stomach with sleeping. It got up, saw the big clod and screamed again. Moreover many big clods followed it, so it is expected that same things are repeated.
I think this story says that our life has the succession of difficulties, but it is important to face them seriously and we mustn’t give up.
There was the small clod in a small house. It was sleeping soundly. At that time, the very big clod appeared. The small clod was surprised and long screamed. It faced up the big one, but it was caught and eaten. It fell in a stomach and was at a loss. After a while, its house also fell there. Thereupon, it felt easy and began to sleep again. Then it came out of the stomach with sleeping. It got up, saw the big clod and screamed again. Moreover many big clods followed it, so it is expected that same things are repeated.
I think this story says that our life has the succession of difficulties, but it is important to face them seriously and we mustn’t give up.

A guy wakes up and he finds his house to be dirty by trash. Then he remembers his parents will come to his house soon after! He gets into a panic. Then, the man suddenly appears. The man explains to him seven ways to clean his house by using a banana. For example, we can use a banana skin to polish shoes. Finally, his house becomes clean!
I answer the questions. I think the banana master is one of guests who came to the home party the day before. He could not back to his own house and stays at a guy's house still next morning. He knows ways to clean up by chance.
In addition, the irony of this story is the problem of the smell. If I clean my house by using a banana, there should be much smell of a banana in my house. I think it's the irony.

About Bananamaster
First of all, this movie is very original and intresting but, I don't like banana so if I were a man, I had not wanted to appear Bananamaster. And I wonder whether the room reeks of the smell of banana. It is unbelievable to clean the room by only bananas.

How to Use a Banana
Good evening.
It is little cold today. Recently, almost of my friends catch a cold. That't too bad.
Today, I want to think about Banana Master.
Banana Master told the man how to use a banana. Cleaning shoes, polishing the furnitures, healing itchy, taking off ink, repairing CDs, getting off flies and so on.
The man had really profited by Master's advice. Because he had to clean up his house until his parents came back.
I think Banana Master is the man's friends' friend. He joined the man's home party, and enjoyed it. Probably there were many people in his house, so the man didn't notice him.
So, the man who helps him is Banana Master, but the man who mess the hose is also Banana Master.
It's irony of this story, I think.

The Clod
Probably, What the filmmaker tried to teach us was the importance of being determined to everything because we encounter a lot of unexpected happenings in our daily life. In this movie, a creature appears ahead of the clod when he was sleeping and swallowed him in spite of resistance. But after that the creature swallowed his favorite house too and therefore he got back his daily life in the creature's stomach. At first sight, he encountered the trouble and look like very unhappy. However, taken together, his life is just the same as ever.
BANANA MASTER
I think what the filmmaker intended to tell us was the importance of trying to create new ideas from things close to us. In this movie, banana master tells a man the functional usage of banana to clean up his untidy room. We usually regard banana not the tools for cleaning but the food and hardly try to think about the utilization of banana peel. But banana peel finally help the man clean his room. To look at things from a bit different viewpoint may help us create new ideas like the example of banana peel. I think banana master is the incarnation of banana. He probably would like to let us know the chance of using banana and the importance of imagination.
About "Otaku"
Hi,everyone. We watched the movie related to Otaku.
I think it is difficult to explain Otaku to foreign people, but I try to do.
Otaku means someone who is obsessed with interests especially animation and game and manga. The stereotypes of Otaku is they always wear glasses, have bag on their back, and peculiar way of speaking. They may be seen as disgusting thing.
But I think all of Otaku people don't apply to this stereotypes. Otaku is almost man but recently women have become Otaku, which is called "Fujoshi"too.
Some Otaku say "Moe" frequently.
Moe means the word for like pink fuzzy warm thing. it is especially used for 2 dimension character. But I don't know why most Otaku use this word.
Some girls recently have become "Tsundere."
Tsundere means the girl likes someone,but she can't be honest her feelings and she hide herself. So, she may say the word, may be the bad word, which is opposite her feelings.
Otaku likes cosplaying. Cosplaying is wearing costume as favorite role playing character.
Burikko may be disliked style of girls. It means some old women are faking her cuteness. For example, when they see a cute thing, they pretend to be young girls and say like "Tyo-kawaii" again and again. In my opinion, when I see this kind of women, I'm sure I feel irritated.

And then Banana Master appeared and he told a man how to clean room by banana. There are 7 steps.Step 1 is to polish leather for eaxample shoes and bags by banana's skin. Step 2 is to polish leaves of plants. Step 3 is to put down itch. Step 4 is to polish sesk. Step 5 is to rub out ink that is written skin. Step 6 is to repair scratch of CD and DVD. Step 7 is to gather harmful insects. His house had been compeletly clean. Maybe Banana Master isn't his aquaintance, but Banana master appear and tell them how to use banana if there are people who are in troble. This story tell us that banana is useful although we tend to throw away banana's skin.

This is a film which banana master help man by using
banana. The man drank last naight, and his house
was full of trush and empty can. When he wake up,
he found that it's the day that his parents will come.
So he was in trouble. Suddenly, banana master
appeared in front of him, and banana master
taught him how to clean his house.
I was very surprised that banana was good for
itching. If I have itchy spot, I would want to
try it by all means!
If I clean my room by using banana, My room
would smell of banana. That's funny!

Small clod dropped into inside of big one's stomach. After him, his small house also dropped, and covered him. Small clod mistook inside of big clod's stomach for the place where he live. However when big clod discharged, small clod and his house went out from big one's body. Small one felt relieved becuase he went back the place he live. However there are a lot of big clods. I think small one is very careless. So maybe this story tell us that we should live carefully.

Last Saturday
I went to Odaiba and Ginza with my friends, Mari and Arisa last Saturday. First we went to "miraikan" at Obaiba. We saw an exhibition of haunted house. There are two areas, haunted house and special area that explain why we are afraid of ghosts and hounted houses. It was so so horrible that we couldn't advance smoothly!!!!! After that we left for Ginza to have dinner. The restaurant we went is very lovely:) Inside of the restaurant looks like princess's room! To my surprise, we have delicious dinner and then waitress brought a birthday cake for me! In favt, it was design of Mari and Arisa to surprise me:) Although it was little early,I was very happy and I thanked them:)

I will write about the film that we watched last time, and the title is, "The 7 unexpected ways of using bannana". There was a young man A, he had a big party yesterday, and his house was all messed up!! Problem is that his parents were coming to visit A's house in a few hours!!!

In the film "How to use a banana in 7 unexpected ways", a hairy man appears all of a sudden and helps the man clean his house with bananas. There is no specific information who the banana man is in the film. The banana man has a beard and that kind of reminds me of Jesus. So, I think the man is some kind of holy man who suddenly appears and helps the man with his wisdom. The banana man just appeared to help and there is no real relation between them.

The Clod
This short film was very interesting. I don't know how to explain the character, but I thought both of the character was very cute looking.
The story start with the scene that small character living in his house. But suddenly, the big character appears and ate the small character and his house. Small character screamed, but in a few second, he relaxed and settle down. Than, big character pushed the small character out of his body, and he was survived from the big character. At last, small character was survived, but many big character was walking toward him, and it seemed that the story repeats.
What in the world is this story about? I can't imagine the relationship or story, but maybe this is story about the human society. Story doesn't end, and repeats forever and ever. One day it's trouble for someone, but one day it is not. It is a roop of that kinds of stuff. Oh, I think I'm saying the wrong thing, but this is just my opinion:-D Thank you for reading!

To put it simply, this short movie was about an black ball-like creature, I will call it Kuro, gets eaten by big monster, again and again.
At first, Kuro was living peaceful in his house, but he hears a big stomp coming towards his house. As he get out of his house and took a look at what was the reason of this big stomp, he gets astonished, because it was an monster, probably 40 times bigger than him!! Lol
Within a few seconds, he and his house gets eaten. Inside the monster's stomach, Kuro was relaxing in his house. After a few minutes, he was launched outside. Kuro thought that he got his peace back, and he went outside to get fresh air, but what he saw outside was an probably an infinite number of monsters marching in line toward his house. He got depressed by this situation and that's where the story ends.
I think the creator of this movie was trying to tell us that there is always an difficulties in our life, and if we don' t take effort to solve it, we can't get out of it.
So,,,,,let's work hard?? Lol

Probably the larger character only thinks of the smaller one such an minor obstacle that it seems to him just an clod. I think that the message of this film means that we humans think that they are so smart that they often forget that even small creatures have their own way of thinking. It reminds me of the saying even an worm will turn.
