On Saturday, I watched Alice in Wonderland. I like Alice the best of all Disney characters, so I have been looking forward to watching it. I could enjoyed it, so I'd like to recommend you.
The story is about 19-years-old Alice. When she ran after a white rabbit, she fell into a hall and wandered into the wonderland called underland. In wonderland, people have been ruled by the red queen. The picture scroll of the land has predicted that the savior, Alice, would appear. So, everyone has waited Alice!! The white queen who used to control the wonderland asked Alice to fight against the red queen in order to recapture the throne. Alice decided to fight against the red queen with mad hatter and her companions…
I was surprised about this story because I haven’t had imagination that Alice fights against someone. This movie tells us two main massages.
First, in the movie, her conflict of mind is described. She has had the good imagination since she was a child. In her imagination, a white rabbit and a caterpillar can speak and she plays with them. She has still such mind of girl but her mother doesn’t understand her imagination. Besides, her mother forces her to meet the partner of a meeting with a view to marriage. Then, she ran away. I think 19-year-old is neither a girl nor a lady. In fact, I’m same old as Alice. Sometimes I’m also perplexed because people consider me as grownup. So I sympathize with Alice so much.
Second, there is the message that we should have strength. At first, Alice was not strong and she didn’t try to fight. But, when she noticed that she was only one who could save people from the red queen, she stood up and fought. If we are needed by someone, we can confront someone or something and we can become strong. In the end of the movie, Alice seemed to me to be more beautiful than her in the beginning. I think the woman who has strength is attractive. I’d like to be a woman such as Alice.
