Mirage.
Main character a robot, who needs water to survive. I think story is taking place in under the water because people can't no longer live on land because of radioactive contamination etc. He kept looking for water because without it he'll die. Then he finds a fruit? filled with water and a fish inside. He crushes the fruit and gets water. Massage of the story is "water is important"
