My sister came back from the hospital this morning. Though she had a fever which was over 40 Celsius a week ago, she seems okay now. Itโ€™s a pity for her because she is having her final exams next week, but at least Iโ€™m happy to see her for the first time in a week.

Hello

Today, I did a cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a human-like doll at driving school.๐Ÿš˜

It was not easy, but I think itโ€™s very important for a driver. ๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜๐Ÿš˜

It will be never or once in our lifetime that we face the situations using it, but I should never forget what Iโ€™d learned today!
Today, I took IELTS for the first time. I'm not sure whether I did well or not because even though I went to bathroom before the test, all I thought during the test was 'I wanna go to the bathrooom right now.'
I hope I will receive a good result in two weeks.

sleep hours

I used to sleep at 22;30 every day!!! But since I entered college, I cannot help sleeping after midnight. I really don't like it. I'm used to sleep early and I feel like if I don't sleep more than seven hours, I cannot survive the next day.
I wish I could sleep more than 10 hours everyday.

Home Alone

Since my parents are leaving me behind, I will be home alone like that 1990s film for a day. So I was planning to meet my friend from high school, but she told me that there was something urgent that my plans for Hanakin (่ฏ้‡‘๏ผ‰was gone.

I thought this was a sign to do the assignment that made me feel meh.

Never enough time

As I get older, there are more things I am able to do. Therefore, is leaving me with barely any time to get done what I truly want to do.

I feel like I should get my priorities straight and focus less on certain things.

What do you guys prioritize most during your week/day?
I wanna knowwwwwwwwwwww.

Homework

Next week, we have book report, final draft, and other heavy homework...
But I donโ€™t have time on weekedns because lacrosse practice starts from afternoon.
I have to do it๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๏ผ๏ผ

Afterschool

I went to my high school today's afterschool. I met my home room teacher,
but I didn't noticed him at first because he changed his hair style...
I think I will never go there again, but it was good to see some of my friends there.

Q: Why did the director make Mc Donald evil?
The director made Mc Donald evil is that it is representing a tyranny in the fast food business. Always dealing with trial issues.

Irony: The message is that our life is surrounded by many advertisements even though we do not notice, it is always in our lives.
The companies are always competing with new products to increase their sales.
emmit a war that people are involved unintentionally.

Why did the producer made McDonald a bad guy?
I thought a clown is often made into bad side because they don't change their face and makes us feel as if he is thinking something creepy.

Irony
There are many companies around the world and if those keep expanding. It makes us know our world is a industrial world. It will become a fight against each other that will enroll every one in the earth and become a huge disaster.

Logorama

Why Mc Donald was a villain in the video?
I think it is because Mc Donalds is one of the largest junk food in the world, so that means most people in the world knows Mc Donalds. I believe since they serve junk foods, they are bad
for health. I think this is because why Mc Donald was chosen as villain. In this video, I found about 20 logos overall at first, and in second time, I found about 20 more.

What message does the video had?
In this video, there were tons of logos, like Starbucks and Home Depo, which we see in daily lives in the U.S. In addition, there are some strong companies that controls the worldx like the villain in this case. This may lead to powerful companies having too much power that no body could control.

KANTO Tournament

This week, I have my first cheerleading competition!!
Iโ€™m worried a lot because my team is mostly 4th graders and didnโ€™t have much time to practice together with every member in the team. It has only been two months since I started cheerleading but Iโ€™ll try my best!! Hope I can go to the nationals in summer.

Logorama

Why do you think Ronald was the killer?
I think because many people around the world know about McDonalds and Ronald McDonald. Also,  he is a clown and clowns in some countries, do not have a good image to people. I personally think McDonald was made villain because of the junk they serve. Though this short movie was made in 2009, McDonald was found using expired chicken meat. McDonald is one of the biggest fast food chains in the world, but at the same time, is one of the most unhealthy food in the world.

What is the message?
I think the director of this movie is telling us that the world is made go logos and is kind of dominated by logos and it's brand. Our thought about buying things is controlled by the impression of that brand. The author might be telling us that do not believe in the logo and brand too much.

Nowadays, McDonalds is a great example of junk food, which we can buy in a cheap price. People from all over the world know its logo, and it has a big impact to the society. Logos represent each company's feature, and it is one of their identities. When we see a logo of a brand such as Coach or Gucci, we recognize them as an expensive high-quality product. On the other hand, when we see a logo of a popular junk food restaurant, we tend to think that it is cheap, and we can easily buy them without thinking about the cost. Unfortunately, these logos keep us away from thinking of the danger behind it. For example, when there is a logo of a famous high quality brand, we tend to believe it easily and get tricked, even though the product is not real. Also, when we see logo of McDonalds, we tend to eat it without caring about money, but this cheap product may have a negative effect on one's health. Like these, we should never rely on the information logos give us, and it is important to remember that there is something hidden behind it.
I think McDonalds was used as an example because it's the most famous logo that has hidden dangers behind it.
I couldn't count the logos, but I guess there are over a thousand.

Logorama

Why was McDonald's chosen as the villain?
I think it is because McDonald's have a huge power that can be kind of scary. It is too popular in the US and is giving people bad influence for their health.

The message of the video
People are focusing on brands and companies are focusing on their profit too much. This would lead to a bad cycle of famous brands getting more and more power.

I just saw Maria's blog that mentioned Pokemon Go.
Actually, my dad is also still obsessed with the game. Every weekend he goes out to do a battle and catch a rare Pokemon. I don't know the detail though... Like Maria's father my dad wanted "friends" to trade Pokemons or other stuff. MAYBE I will tell him that I found a person who can be his "friend".

Logorama.(2009)

Why was Ronald McDonald the villain?
McDonaldโ€™s is a one of largest restaurant chain in the U.S. and continues to grow. There must be few people in the States who have never heard of the name, even if it might be a bad rumor. I feel this way because in 2004 the documentary movie called โ€œsuper size meโ€ was launched, which made people have bad impression about McDonaldโ€™s. The movie is about the effect of fast-food to our health. One month after he only ate fast-food from McDonaldโ€™s everyday, he gained over eleven kilograms and caused some bad diseases.  Probably, people who watched the movie had a negative impression to McDonaldโ€™s. Five years after the launch of the movie, producers or makers of โ€œLogoramaโ€ decided to choose Ronald McDonaldโ€™s as a villain of the story. I think because of the movie above it is easy to make people have a bad feeling toward Ronald McDonald by linking the bad impression of McDonald's.

The message behind the film
We are surrounded by so many companies which promotes the profit. These companies make our life by providing food or other merchandises. People may regard the fact as a natural thing but the film tells us that people are depending on companies too much.

Why is Ronald McDonald a villain in this video?
Because there are some scary stories about him which are talked in the Internet, so the director got the idea from them.

What is the message from this video?
There are lots of companies around the world, but once they lose the control, it is easy to disappear.

Why the villain Ronald McDonald?
I think that the animators chose Ronald because of the reputation McDonald has with its junk food which is not healthy at all. The way that Ronald was shooting without mercy in the movie describes exactly the way McDonald keeps producing not healthy food thinking only in the profit.

What is the message?
Not only McDonald, but also many companies are thinking too much in the profit of their sales instead of what is really good for people, and the earth. As the outcome of what is big companies are doing now, the world could end just like the movie showed us, ending with the people and environment destroyed.

The message
I think the message in this movie is that there are logos all around us that we can create a short film from these logos.

Why was Ronald McDonald the villain?
McDonalds has reached their share among the world and many Americans have diabetes or other health problems for the food is so cheap and big, easier to afford than healthier food. Ronald McDonalds was chosen as the villain because McDonalds is a villain to the American citizens against their health issues. It is a easy example to tell that the delicious food served at McDonalds is actually unhealthy for you by making the loving character play the villain.

Why do you think the animators chose Ronald McDonald to be the  killer?
I thought it because Ronald McDonald is a clown, which is shown as  scary character in the movies like โ€œITโ€. Also, in 2016, there was a incident in Australia and England that the clown look person kidnapped several children. So I thought that animators chose Ronald McDonald as a killer.

What is the message behind this film?
Our lives are filled with logos(= companies). Which means that our society became industrialized and a lot more conventional. But on the other hand, it became more dangerous like terrorism in the film too.  And be aware of nature disasters!!

Yakiniku

Yesterday, I went to yakiniku with my friends. It was so delicious, I cannot express this with words๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Then, we went to Starbucks to drink the chocolate cookie frappechino ๐Ÿ˜Š it was so fun๐Ÿ’“

Logorama

Why was Ronald McDonald the villain?
I personally don't have a good image of Macdonald's, because they offer junk food which makes me feel guilty eating it. McDonald's mascot Ronald being a villain made sense to me. In Japan not so much but in America, unhealthy yet cheap meal they offer is a big reason of its obesity rate. Being obese is a problem not only because it appears in how they look. It affects your health in a bad way little by little. I know MacDonald's is just another fast food chain that's trying to compete in their industry. Although it is very easy for them (their products) to be a strong enemy of us human beings.

What was the message?
Be aware of what you consume. What it is, where it is from, how it got here, what it is made of and so on. After all we are a small existent that is exposed to all the information brought by the a huge companies 24/7. You should be the one who choose, not the power of the clever advertisements.

Amazing experience

Yesterday I worked at a figure skating competition called "Mao Asada Cup" as a staff.
Since I haven't started my part-time job yet, it was the first job in my life.

Highlights of the day:
ใƒปI got to see Mao and her sister Mai's skating in a really close distance!
ใƒปMidori Ito was standing right next to me. (I didn't realize until another worker told me though๐Ÿ˜…)

My job was to sell DVDs to the participants from many countries and it was quite fun.
Also, I could watch little skaters give their performances which was super cute.
I just enjoyed my day. It was amazing!!

Why is Mc. Donald the villan in this video ?
I think the reason why he is the villans in this video is because his clothes and the look would stand out of the other company characters. In addition, people now realize that junk foods are bad for their health, and Mc. Donalds is the best representation of the junk food production. You can also see this from the other characters that are evil is mostly from junk food companies. In contrast, the michelin is a company that is making many things that people can actually use.

What is the message in this video ?
I think this video is trying to say that the world cannot go around without the help of the companies. However, if you judge the company only by its logos, it can use you in a bad way. You should always be aware of what companies and who to trust.

Saturday

On Saturday, I listened to my favorite artist's radio! The last time that artist was on the radio was about three months ago, so I got really excited... but next radio is going to be several months later again...

What is the message behind this story?
The citizens (mainly in the United States) lives are dominated by marketing and logos. Our desire to acquire certain products are being controlled by the impression of brands made by commercialization. Therefore, this movie is constructed so the audience imagines and mindfully puts together the information. The movie itself is blunt and fairly empty contained.
Why do you think the animators chose Ronald McDonald to be the crazy killer?
Ronald is a part of a big fast food industry, McDonald's. Many citizens from the United States are diagnosed with diabetes or seen to be rather overweight, and even they are aware of their health, many people still continue to eat fast food. I believe this has a lot to do with the way McDonald's advertises itself. McDonald's (aka the king of fast food) is secretly a killer since it can cause many people bad health, and the fact that Ronald continues to run away freely from the โ€œpoliceโ€ suggests the fact that McDonald's is getting away about providing such unhealthy food.
            Irony?
After the world ends, slow chill music starts to play.
The car that Ronald was driving said free shipping but to only 48 states even though it is all the same United States.
