Summary
Two Michelin men are on patrol in the police car. When one of them left the car to buy some food, the other one gets information about a man to be caught from the extension in the car. Though they start chasing him, who is Ronald, he escapes from them. Other mascots also try to shoot him, but he runs away in no time. Suddenly, an enormous crack opens for Ronald to fall in, but he comes back on the road. A huge earthquake opens up more cracks and the land starts to break into pieces which kills him eventually. It destroys the whole town, or the whole world. Esso Girl and Big Boy are the only survivors.
Evaluation
Ronald McDonald is a well-known mascot of the McDonald’s. So I assume that the film maker used him as an example of a worldwide famous restaurant lasting for decades. When we hear a large company was built on the land where a small one used to be, we might think the large strong company kicked out the small weak one that went bankrupt by its own fault. Dominating companies are prone to be charged because people sometimes consider them disrespectful and selfish.
