About transgender people in Thailand

1) Why are these so many transgender people in Thailand?

Thailand is Buddhism country. According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhism_by_country), more than 90 percent of Thai were Buddhist at a time. I have once heard that Buddhism allows about changing gender, so I think Thailand people tend to think about it more tolerate.

2) What do you think about transgender people and civil right?

I think the civil rights for transgender people should be allowed because they suffer the gap from society because of their natures. I think people should consider how transgender people have a difficulty in spending their lives.
