About Transgendered Peole

1), Why Are There So Many Transgendered Peole In Thailand?

As I saw in the video in the last class, Thanks to Crystal, there now is a law in Thailand, which allows Transgendered people to live their life to the fullest. It says that there must not be any descrimination against transgendered people.

This law is one of the main reason of maintaining peace between transgendered people and not transgendered people in Thailand. But there seems to be one big another reason. It's the Medical Technology. I looked up some websites and they said that Thai medical technology is the greatest in the world and is especially advanced in Transgender surgery.

Lately I hear a lot about transgendered people in Thailand. For example, there is a movie called " The Hangover 2 " which was filmed in Thailand and the climax of this movie is about the transgendered people. Not to mention that I highly recommend this movie. Not only on movie, but on TV shows, i see lots of gorgeous transgendered people in Thailand. Thailand is the most comfortable country for transgendered people to live in, regarding the law and the medical treatment.

2), What Do You Think About Transgendered People And Their Civil Rights?

When i was still a child, I actually found those people weird.Looking back, i don't know why but maybe i just couldn't get used to it at that time. But there are now lots of transgendered celebrities on Japanese TV, which must be really strange in other countries like the Unites States. People in Japan are getting used to see those people because of those TV shows. We all love each person's character and I actually thought that people shouldn't really be judged by their looks. I'm attracted to their character too. So my conclusion is that All people should be treated equally. It doesn't matter if you are transgendered. Their civil rights should be just like ours too . I wonder why it has to be a special civil rights for transgendered people.
