Transgender People in Thailand

I enjoyed watching the video in the last IE core class. I think Thai people are tolerant, as Thailand is often called "the country of smile". Also, most people on Thai are Buddists and Thai is basically matriarchal country, so they are tolerant and respect individuals. I think that's why there are many transgender people in Thailand. I think it is natural that transgender people have the civil rights because they are never criminal or dengerous people. They are not different from other people, so we mustn't discriminate them. I think it is great and important that transgender people live happily in every society.
