Hi, this is my first comment on this blog. First, I want to introduce myself to the class and to Mr. Armstrong. My name is Alon Nagata and I was born in the Philippines. Alon means "wave" in Tagalog, which is a first language spoken in the Philippines. I used to live there for about 17 years and I came back to Japan when I was in the second year of high school. Japan and the Philippines are both great countries and I consider both countries as my home country.
My hobby is to watch American dramas on DVD and my favorites are "The O.C." and "Gossip Girl". These are both about teenagers struggling and overcoming their lives through friendship, love and other things. I also like to travel and visit foreign countries. If anyone has recommendation what to watch or where to visit, please let me know.
