i think the film is trying to show us that the U.S.'s great mass of consumption would one day destroy the world through the widely known U.S. famous characters and logos acting absurd regardless the images of their company finally made the city collapsed and the black liquid which symbolizes oil resources maybe spouting out, but i think it tells the importance of having logos at the same time.
