The
city appears in this movie was a jumble of logos. There are too many logos so I
was confused. I could not find specific theme, but I think the producer may
have wanted to criticize mass-production and mass consumption. The battle
between McDonald and Michelin and the earth quake after that fight seemed to
insist that competition among large companies isn’t so important and the issue
more serious that that is environmental destruction.
This
movie told the important message but it made me sore. The earthquake and the
tsunami reminded me 3.11, the large earthquake disaster. This movie released in
2009, so the producer also could not expect the certain disaster. It became a
prediction by accident.
