Mirage

1.    What is the story?

This story is about the robot which has to collect water to sustain his life. In this short film, we can watch his severe but heart-warming journey to collect water.

2.    What is the message?

Human have countless desire. It is true that human has to pay sacrifice instead of reaching their goal. However, we have to be careful not to be too selfish. This short film teaches us the importance of being not greedy.

Book Report.

I finally decided what book to write for the book report.
I chose the book called Jane Eyre.
I hope I can understand the contexts deeply and be able to write a great book report.
I think I should get the book and start reading.

Sweet potatoes

Today, I ate sweet potatoes for the first time in this season.
Sweet potatoes that I ate were very big, sweet.
When I was a child, I often ate sweet potatoes with my childhood friend.
My childhood friend really loved it, and he ate one big potato in at least 5 minutes.
Moreover, he stole my potato which I was going to eat, and often fought hard.
Today's sweet potatoes remind me sweet childhood's memories.

My worry

I have a worry.

It is that I am not good at making friends. 

I been to combined junior and high school, so I didn't have to try making friends when I enter high school. Also, as entering university, as I had one friend that I knew since high school,  and she was sociable person, so I didn't have to greet with new friends. 

However, this made me problem now. In my club activity, we share some equipments with other universities, and to do that smoothly, I`m gonna have to make friends in each universities. 

Since many soaring team in other universities consists of men, I feel kind of away and can't adapt myself to them. 

I really admire my seniors doing well with other students in other universities. 

I hope I can be like them in near future. 

Northern Europe

I'm into Sweden these days. Sweden is an English (+ Swedish) speaking country located in north of Europe. My friend, who's good at photographing, currently lives in Sweden and his photos he posts on facebook are always so nice! His photos of the northern lights are stunningly beautiful!!! The more I see his photos the more I want to visit.  Houses are colourful and cute, it's rich in nature, you can see the northern lights in winter, and Swedish culture is nice especially during Christmas time. Streets are ideal and beautiful. If you take street pictures in Japan, it's kind of just boring and not interesting at all, right? 

The total amount of money needed to travel Sweden will be so high. It's not like traveling South Korea or somewhere near Japan...

I have to overcome this obstacle.

my book report

I chose ”The Scarlet Letter” for my book report.

The reason why I selected this book was because I heard the title of it in the other class and I felt that it sounded interesting.

I started reading this book but it is little difficult for me. 

However, I try to read it.

book report

As I wrote in the before blog, I decided to read Dracula. I'm reading it. Because the story is very interesting, l cannot stop reading it once I start to read it. I concern about the finish.

squash

I played squash for the first time at last Sunday. Do you know squash? It's a sport that is similar to badminton or tennis. But it's played in a small court, and the court is surrounded by walls. Although I'm not good at ball game, I became to be able to play it a little. I want to practice and improve squash!

Zedd

I love variety of music.

One of my favorite music is EDM.

The trigger that I like EDM is the song called Wake me up by Avicii.

Avicii had plans to come to Japan twice, but two of them cancelled.

Another favorite EDM artist is Zedd.

He is going to come to Japan in January.

I want to go to Zedd’s music festival, but I don’t have confident to go because EDM music festival is very noisy and crowed.

I am not good at big sound and I don’t have common friend who likes Zedd.

I recommend that you should listen to Break free by Zedd featuring Ariana Grande.

christmas tree

Yesterday when I came back from school, my mom was preparing the Christmas tree. Our tree is vermy tall which can reach the ceiling. She was starting to decorate so I helped her. We first put the fur, and then many small decorations and on the top we made a big ribbon. In the end we put the light. We still have about a month left and I'm really excited to have a Christmas party with my famimly.

Excellent day.

Yesterday I went to a hamburger restaurant called, JS hamburger which is located in Shibuya PARCO with Momoko. Whenever I pass the restaurant I see it always crowded with people.
Since we could go there just when it opened, we didn't need to wait.
The taste was very good. I really liked it.

After eating, I looked around some shops and was able to buy some clothes.
I enjoyed shopping a lot.

Beautiful Bouquet

Yesterday I saw a man who had a bouquet in the train, on my way home from school. Red roses, yellow roses, and gypsophila (Kasumi sou) were wrapped in English paper. It was stylish and I noticed I had not bought flowers for a long time. There was no knowing that to whom he intended to present the bouquet though, it looked really beautiful. I remembered one of my friends worked at flower shop. I thought I wanted to go and buy some soon.

Kohaku

     Do you know this news? The Japanese famous rok band, BUNP OF CHICKEN will appear on Kohaku Utagassen this yaer. If this news is true, I'm very happy. Recent misic programs are boring for me because most of the performers are J-POP singers or idols and there are few rock bands.
     I'm looking forward to seeing them performing on the last day of this year and I hope other rock bands also appear on TV more frequently.

Shopping

Today I went shopping with Megumi.
It was very fun time because I was waiting such a fun time for a long time.

I bought winter coat at GAP because outer was sold at half price.
Other goods were sold 40% off, so this special discount made me buy many goods.

We had the big hamburger for lunch.
It was inexpensive, voluminous hamburger.
I loved it very much!

Epic Supper

Last Sunday, all 9 of us were having supper at Izakaya in Kudanshita to wrap up the day. We seated at the counter and some ordered glasses of water and others glasses of beer.  Soon, the glasses of beer arrived. One of us ordered a tuna salad. some others and I ordered raw fish dishes. A waitress went outside!! This Izakaya served everything at a reasonable price so everything seemed ok until...

 One of us found... a small cockroach walking on the counter table right in front of us!! Everyone was startled!!! Not a single glass of water was served yet so we asked a waiter to serve them immediately. Most of the dishes we ordered came, but we were a little bit disappointed because their appearance was far from what we saw on the menu.The waitress came back from outside with a shopping bag! As we stared at her in the kitchen, she took a tuna can out of the bag!!! We, reluctantly, asked another waiter again that water is not served yet, which finally came!! One of our main dishes (raw fish) still hasn't arrived after lots of waiting(most of us finished eating)... so we tried not to be upset about it by imagining some waiters fishing at the sea at the very moment. 

We all burst into laughter on our way home lol.

I lost my contact lens

I lost my last contact lens on Sunday, so I had to wear glasses for three days. Since I am not used to wear glasses, everything looked crooked! I finally got new contact lens today. I am happy I don't have to wear them anymore.

Photo shooting

I had a photo shooting for a hairstyle magazine last Friday. It was such an amazing experience. I am grateful for the hairstylists that gave me the opportunity. Since I was born and raised in a rural area, I feel the blessing of being in a big city! 

I am tired

Recently, I was boring very much.
I want to have a burst!
Anything is fine. For example, go to Disneyland, to watch baseball game, go shopping etc.
There are always many assignments around me, so I am very tired.
I am not good at sweets but now I want to eat something sweet. I guess that means I am tired.
I will go to bed soon today.

Weekend

I came back from Hakodate, my hometown this morning. I left Tokyo on Saturday. I didn't plan to go home but I did because I felt homesick.

It was much colder than Tokyo. I saw the first snow. My mum lighted the wood stove for me. I really like to see the fire in it. It makes me relaxed.

I was really happy to see my dog, brothers and a friend. My best friends and I look forward to seeing each other in winter. I already miss Hakodate so much. 1 more month to go, can't wait.

Book Report

For my next book report, I chose a book called Coraline by Neil Gaiman.
This book is also made into an animation movie.
I  have seen the movie more than three times and I really enjoyed them.
Since the movie was made for children, I think there are many difference in story between the book and the movie. So I'm really excited to know the difference between them.

Favorite band

I have written blogs about rock bands some times. Today, I'd like to write my recent favorite band. The band is 04 limited sazabys. It was formed in Nagoya and made its major debut in this spring.
On October 28, this band came out the major 1st single, TOY. I knew the band by this single and got interested in it. I was so fascinated with its songs that I rented 2 albums as well as bought songs at iTunes.

Next book report

Finally, I chose Adventure of Huckleberry Finn for my next book report.
I watched the movie of this today. It was very fun!
My mother and I were absorbed to watching it.
Now, I am very interested in reading this book very much!

Next book report.

I decided to read "Animal Farm" for the next book report.
I have been wanted to red this book from before, so I am very excited to read it!
The reason I chose this book, is that I though it is very interesting and also, it contains historical problem. Anyway, I will try very hard on this and get much better score than 1st Book Report.

My holiday in Kochi.

Yesterday, I came back to Kochi, my hometown. I haven't came back here since summer vacation, and also, I have been there only 3days. So, I was very happy to be in my home again. 

I am very glad to see my family very much. It is so nice. 

No school...?

Today I wake up at six and took the train to school as normal.
However I noticed that the back gate was closed.
So I checked my portal site and finally found out that I didn't have school today.
What a fool I was.

illumination2

Yesterday, I went to see another illumination. Last time, I went to Ebisu, but this time,  I went to Roppongi, mid town. It was such a beautiful place. I really loved there, and I wanted to stay more longer. But it was pretty cold, so we went back home. 

I love Tokyo since there are lots of entertainment. I would like to go see more illumination before it gets crowded in December with a lot of couples. 

Small trip

Today, I went to Shizuoka prefecture with my grandparents.

There was strong wind today, so we were uncomfortable when we rode the boat.

 

In addition many goods were sold in the market, and it was very fun time to look around many rare things.

 

My grandmother bought many things, so she seemed very satisfied.

I am very tired today, so I will go to bed soon.

 

 

winter is coming

Today is November 20!!
November is getting the end, and December is coming closer!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are you going to do in this winter?
Although the winter vacation is too short, there are big events in it...Christmas and New Year's day!!! We should enjoy them!!!

It has been very cold these days. I have not felt well.

Favorite coffee

I often go to Tully's coffee.
I love Tully's coffee because Tully's coffee is inexpensive compared to Starbucks coffee.

The coffee in the right side of picture is sold only in Yamanashi prefecture.
The pattern that appears in the coffee is the family crest of Shingen Takeda.
Shingen Takeda is the hero in Yamanashi prefecture.
You can see the statue of Shingen Takeda at Kofu station.
In addition, you can drink this limited coffee at Tully's coffee near Kofu station.
If you come to Yamanashi prefecture, please drink it.

Missing brothers

I'm really missing my brothers. I want to see them just right now especially the one who's 16. I just opened LINE to send him a message, then I found he sent me a video. It was so lovely. I cannot tell how much I love him. I want to go home with a great Christmas present for him next month.

Next Book Report

For the next book report, I haven't decide which one to read, but I want to read something that relates to family. This is because now, I live separately with my parents and I realized how they helped me everyone they I couldn't thank them enough. So I would like to read about family and if I can, I want to find the way to thank my parents from the book. 

Book Report

My book report is back now. I had made some mistake on the format. I wrote a book report on The Remains of the Day. It was a little difficult but it made me easier to understand watching the movie.　I liked it.
So, for the next book report I chose a book called Charley. I just went to the school library to borrow it, but they didn't have it... I will try to find it in the library near my house.

          The title is The Notebook. The reason why I chose this book is because I wanted to read this book for the 1st book report. I have already watched the movie. I was very moved by this movie. Now I'm excited at reading the book. I want to compare the movie and the book.

          The last book report is Wicked. Wicked is very difficult for me to read. I want to read again after improving my English ability.

my part time job

I recently started a part time job. I am doing a teacher at jyuku. My jyuku is individual class. I am teaching mostly senior high school. It is my first time to have a part time job and it is quite difficult to teach to others. I kind of understood how teachers in school teach. I want to be able to teach clearly and easy to understand.

Next book report

I haven’t decided which book to choose for my next book report but I want to read a book which was made into film because I like watching films. Many people chose The Great Gatsby this time, so it may be a good story. The next one will be tough,  I hope I can write better.

I wrote a book report about Christmas Carol last time. This book was really interesting and I enjoyed reading a lot. For next book report, I'm planning to read The Devil Wears Prada. That is because I have seen the movie before but never read the book. So next, I would like to read and write about The Devil Wears Prada.

Enoshima

I went to Enoshima two weeks ago.

In the night, the top of the Enoshima, around the tower was so beautiful with thousands of candles.

It was so romantic.

I'd like to read a book called "The Body" to write the book report#2 on next mounth.

It is the original story of the U.S. movie "Stand by Me".

In last book report, I wrote about The Great Gatsby because I like the story and it was so fun to analyze it.

I want to make my book report more sophisticated so, I'd like to choose my favorite one.

The last book report, I read and wrote “Christmas Carol.” It is very fantasy and dreamy story, also it made me exiting. So next book report, I want to write a serious or real book, such as The Diary of Anne Frank. Actually, when I was elementary school student, I read it at once. But it was Japanese, so I want to read it in English, next time.

Interesting TV Program

Some days ago, I stayed late and watched TV somehow. One mid-night TV program was interesting that students of AGU appeared. Two boys were interviewed whether AGU was their first choice or not. One of them said he actually wanted to go Keio University. I was excited a bit that the entertainer (Sandwich Man, the comedians at this time) came near AGU and interviewed the students.

Next Book Report

For my next book report, I choose "The Sun Also Rises" by Ernest Hemingway. This book is so famous and I have known the name since years ago.

I take the American literature class and we were taught about  Hemingway. My teacher said that the construction of the sentences of his works were simple and it was like the innovasion in the American literature.  It sounded interesting and I supposed that his work was good for my book report!

I will choose Bridget Jone's Diary because there is the book in the library near my house.

I had a cold

I have a cold since last week. I went to the hospital on Wednesday. For that, I had to absent from the class. But I am happy because I could get some medicines. These days many people have a bad cold. Take care of yourselves.

I went to Niiza city with my friends after classes yesterday.

We went there because ”trampoland” is there, which we can enjoy trampolines.

Tokyo tower

I am writing this blog in the room 15606 of AGU.
Recently, I stayed the classroom after 5th period to avoid from return home rush. 
I will go home around 20:00. So I do homework during this about an hour and a half.

Now I can see Tokyo tower from this classroom.
It is small but it is very beautiful.
I think how nice AGU that we can see Tokyo tower from the classroom.
In my high school, I can see Mt. Fuji.
Now, I cannot see Mt. Fuji, but Tokyo tower is also good. 

Asakusa Lunch

This Monday, I went to Asakusa, the most popular sightseeing spot in Tokyo, with a guy from the U.S. who is visiting Japan for the first time and will be in Japan for a few more weeks.

We went to a Japanese restaurant in Soramachi shopping center close to the Sky Tree. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so Japanese. We had set menus that included Soba and raw fish. I showed him how to slurp Japanese noodles. In Japan, you have to slurp for the noodles to be delicious but he seemed he had trouble slurping. I don't know if he really couldn't slurp or he was just embarrassed to do it... We had raw fish, too, but as soon as he put the raw tuna in his mouth, he said he didn't like the texture of it and I ended up eating the rest of his raw fish (he told me the Soba was delicious).

After Lunch, we went to Nakamise and the Sky Tree, but having Lunch at the Japanese restaurant with an American guy was the most fun part of this Asakusa sightseeing. 

book report

I want to read the scarlet letter for my next book report and borrowed it from the library.

I enjoyed karaoke

     On Wednesday, I usually have two classes; 1st & 2nd period.  But today, the 2nd period was cancelled. So I had a lot of free time and decided to go to karaoke. Since karaoke is one of the most popular places to practice musical instrumants, I took my guitar.
     At first, I was going to just play the guitar and didn't intend to sing songs. But I wanted to sing and sang some songs after all.  Although I enjoyed not only playing but singing, it was hard for me to sing. One reason is because my vioce is very low and another reason is because recent songs are all high tone.
     To tell the truth, I felt a little nervous because this is the first time to go to karaoke alone. But I really enjoyed. Karaoke was so interesting that I stayed the room about 6 hours!

I am thinking of Christmas Carol as a next book report. One of the classmate was using it on the first book report and I got interested in the story. Also it is almost christmas so I wanted to read something that is related to it. 

I am also intersted in the book Anne of Green Gables.  I once saw the animation and I wanted to read the book someday so I thought this is a chance to read it. 

The Fan and The Flower

Setting: a room in an old woman's house.

Character: a fan, a flower, an old woman and a family

Conflict: the flower and the fan versus their cicumstances. Although they tried to come to be close to each other, they can't do that.

Climax: When the fan saw flower getting dying, the fan tried to spin as fast as possible. And finally, the cailing was broken.

Irony: Although they tried to come to be close to each other, they can't do that.

Symbol: The fan and the flower are symbolising people.

Theme: People can give everything to those who they likw\e
 

My friend's birthday

Yesterday, my friend and I celebrated Misaki's birthday.
First, we were planning to go out for dinner but since she had a boyfriend, we decided to give her a birthday cake during class. However, everyone forgot to buy a birthday cake, so we decided to make  cake instead. We bought sweet bun at a convenience store and decorated with snacks such as pocky, aporo, and marshmallow.

 

 

In fifth period, we sang happy birthday song and gave her our handmade birthday cake.She looked surprise so we were very happy to see that. 

Stanley pickle

Setting: the place in countryside in the near future
Character: a boy, a girl, a robot-mother and a robot father
Conflict: The boy versus his desire. He hadn't wanted to go out. However, once he see a mysterious girl in a feld from a window of his house, he came to want to go out/
Irony: He tried to make a robot bird using dead bird to please a girl. However, the robot bird tried to attack her and resulted that he made her scared.
Climax: From the time when he made her scared, he changed his mind and he stoped to make robots and made both of robot mother and robot father stop.
Theme: The life is not forever.
Symbol: The door is a symbol of something new

Next book report

I am planning to read The Old man and the Sea or Adventures of Huckleberry Fin for my next book report.

My high school teacher recommended that I should read Old man and Sea when I was high school student. He was a big fan of The old man and Sea.  I promised him that I read The Old man and the Sea someday , so next bokreport may be just right time to read.

As I mentioned previous my blog, I am also interested in The Adventures of Huckleberry Fin.
I don’t know which I should choose, or which is better for book report. 
However, whichever I choose, I want to read both books someday.

Bedrock Bath

I went out to take a bedrock bath with my friend last Sunday. Have you ever taken it? It's very healthy. When we enter the room, we lie on the floor. After only about 5 minutes, we started to sweat from our whole bodies. I lost a weight about 1kg in the day! Please try to take it if you are interested in it ;)

next bookreport

For the next bookreport, I want to read Matilda by Roald Dahl. I have once read it so I want to read it again. Also, I have some opinion about this book and I want to write it in my second bookreport.

I am worried about second book report because I know that it is going to be very severe. It was quite difficult to write the first book report and I am not sure that I can write a better one. However, Matilda is my favorite book and I want to do my best.

part time job

 I work in a bakery as a part time job. It is my third one in this year. Previouse ones were not good at all so I quited. Bakery is better than previous ones but I still don't like it. I am new worker so I have a lot of things to learn. Members are nice but I don't like the atmosphere. I now understand that I don't like part time job in the firstplace. What is more, bakery doesn't pay much. I don't want to quit it now but I am not sure that I can continue for long time.

Illumination

Today, I went to Roppongi to see illumination with my best friend.
The illumination in Tokyo midtown was so beautiful. 
The theme of this illumination was space.
The atmosphere around illumination was magical.
If you have time, you should go there!
I recommend you to go there in November, because many people will go there in Christmas season.

Lunch with my mother

 I went to lunch with my mother.
My mother took me to the Hyatt Hotel at Roppongi.

It was a buffet.
There were a lot of kinds of food.

I went many times to take foods from table at the front.

This is mango pudding.
It was so delicious.

I ate stomach full.

I want to go there once more.

Today, I enjoyed my evening with a maple coffee!
It was my first time to drink this, and I was surprised at the taste. I can't express the exact taste, but it was totally different one from what I drink everytime.
The shop is in front of big camera in Shibuya! You guys should try it!!!

Hello.
On Friday I really had a good time in the IE class.
It was very interesting listening to other`s stories about their book.
I was surprised to find that many people were writing about the Great Gatsby.
Although there were many interesting books that I thought, I haven`t decided the next book for my book report.

Weekend

I watched 3 films on the weekend. Wall flower, This is England, and The deep end of the ocean. They were all good.

Before I watched wall flower, I thought it’s just a story of a happy school life and didn’t have any deep theme but it wasn’t correct. The emotions and backgrounds of the characters were described well. Emma Watson acted one of the main characters and I liked it. She’s so beautiful.

What I liked about This is England was the accent. It’s a British film as you can guess from the title and all the actors and actresses spoke in British accent. I like listening to British accent because it sounds kind of lovely and beautiful.

I think I liked The deep end of the ocean the best of the three. There were more scenes that I could feel the characters in this film than other two.

I watch films almost every weekends but I sometimes can’t do it because of getting too busy. I’ve just finished book report this week, so I was able to watch films and it made me relaxed. I love films.

Travel

Good evening.
My friend and I are planning to travel in next spring vacation.
The destination where we are planning is Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan.
I have never traveled these three countries.
So, I have no idea.
I have heard people in Taiwan are pro-Japanese, on the other hand, Korean are not kind to Japanese.
If you have information about these three countries, please let me know.

I went to Nagano with my family

 

 I went to Nagano with my mother, father, my grand father and my grand mother.
It took about 1 and and half hour from Tokyo to Nagano.

From Nagano station, we went to Zenkouzi by bus.
Zenkouzi is one of the most famous temple in Japan.

We ate Soba near the temple and it was very good.

I took a lot of pictures.

At the hotel, we ate many delicious foods.
All of the meal were very nice.

a pretty present

Today, I went shopping to Costoco with my mother. and I found very cute & fluffy animals there!!

 

I decided to give one to my friend as a birthday present.

They are sets of blanket and plush. There are many kinds of animals like elephants, rabbits, zebras.... All of them are so cute but I took a cow. This is bacause my friends are studying about animals in a ranch especially cows.

 

He was so cute and fluffy that I always hug him.....(still now!)

I wanted to buy another one for me...................

 I DON'T want to give him to her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"The Devil Wears Prada"

I read the book "the devil wears prada" written by Lauren Weisberger for my book report. This book was filmed in 2006. I've watched the movie twice and I love it! This is a success story of the woman who dreams to be a journalist. Through reading this book, I can leaern that "although what is the most important is different with each person, we each should save it definitely".
It was a bit long to read and understand this book completely, but it is worth reading.

The Sun Also Rises

I know it's a bit late but. . . I read The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway for my book report. His sentences are very simple and easy to understand. However, it was hard for me to see emotions in the characters because of hardboiled style which is the way he wrote.

I am very happy because today is Friday!
I enjoyed today’s IE class very much because many people showed me interests to my book: The Notebook.
This book is really beautiful love story, so you should check it out both the movie and novel.

Stress

I’ve been having more stress than usual these days. I feel want to go back to my hometown.

I thought a lot of assignment was the main thing making me tired but I found out one of the reasons I am so tired is the crowded trains that I have to take nearly every day. I had never experienced such a crowded place till I came to Tokyo. In the train, people push each other. Also it’s irritating to see people who only care about their smartphones. All they think is whether they have new messages or news in their phones, not someone who needs a seat. I am surprised to see so many people remain seated when pregnant women and people who have small kids are around them. People in Tokyo are rich but some of them seem to have such poor hearts.

I’ve just phoned with a friend in Hakodate a couple of days ago and it was so fun. I look forward for the winter holiday.

My aunt and uncle went back to England this Tuesday.

My aunt is married to an English man who was born in Wales and they usually live in England. They visit Japan in autumn every year and stay with us for a few months. 

This year, I had a lot more time to have English conversations with my uncle than ever. I learned some Welsh words from him, too. There is however, one thing that I get nervous when I talk to him. His English is a little bit difficult for me to understand. The way he speaks is more like mumbling and also very fast. I think it's because of his Welsh accent. I really wanna get used to his strong accent by next autumn. 

Nabe-party

Last week, I held nabe-party at my room. I invited my friends who are my co-workers in Dotor cafee shop. We made kimuchi-nabe. Everyday I live at my room alone, so I was so happy to eat dinner with
my friends and talk with them. Our talking was so bloomed and fan. I want to hold nabe-party again!!

My favorite cartoons

Do you like cartoons? I like cartoons very much. I like sports cartoons in particular. In this kind of cartoon, we can enjoy sports and the relationship of player at the same time. My best sports cartoon is   " Ookiku-furikabutte." This made me begin to play baseball. This cartoon tell us, what is the true friendship? If you read it, you absolutely change your values. Sleepover

One of my friends and I had a sleepover last Friday:-)

We knew each other 15 years ago and we hang out frequently even though our high schools and universities are different. However, we had never had a sleepover. We talked a lot of things, mostly about our university life :-)

On the next day, we went to the cinema. We saw ”Ore-Monogatari”, which was really funny! 

We were laughing consistently during the movie.

We had a great time toghther!!!

Book Report

I read ”The Fault in Our Stars”.

This book was written by John Green in 2012.

This  is a love story of two patients of cancer.

I know this story because I saw the film at the beginning of this year.

 It was really impressing and I chose this book since I wanted to read the original story. 

I recommend to you both of them :)

I read "The Notebook" for this book report. The reason I chose this book is that I watched a movie of it before and moved very much. Have you ever watched it?
The story is a love story. The story began at the scene an old men is reading aloud a notebook to an old women. In the notebook. a boy called Noah and a girl called Allie's love story was written. I think that it is interesting how to connect the begging and the story in the notebook.
There are deep love in Noah and Allie. I think they tell us to that we can overcome everything if we were with love.
If you have a chance, you should watch a movie or read a book.

Nettle rash

I have nettle rash these days.
I went to the hospital last Monday, but the condition is still not good.
The new nettle rash broke out every other day.
My doctor said that it was not contagious disease, and it will be cured in ten days.
I am very worried about my nettle rash, but I believe my doctor's word.
I hope my nettle rash disappear as soon as possible.

For my book report, I chose a book called "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fizgerald. The reason I chose this book is because I learned about American Litereture in other class and my teacher recomended this book for us to read. It was such an interesting book and it's  about romance. I've also watched the movie and it was great. I enjoyed both the book and the movie.

Agatha Christie's most popular novel " And then there were none ", that's my choice for the book report. Many people may have read  it since It's super popular, but I read it for the first time. In fact it's my first time I have  read a book in English. 

Agatha Christie is so popular that her series is outsold only by the Bible and Shakespeare series. If you've never read her series before, I strongly recommend that you read one once. 

I'm gonna explain tiny bit of the novel I read.

In the story very strange things happen in an island and people disappear one after another until only one person left in the island. And that person also disappears and then, as the title says, there were none! 

Through reading it, I got confidence in reading a novel in English.

My next novel will also be one of hers, "Murder on the Orient Express". 

Book Report

The book I chose for book report is "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." The reason I chose it is I had been interested in it since I knew it in the American literature course. In the book, the hero, Huckleberry Finn tells us about the adventures with a black slave, Jim to get freedom. They encounter some accidents along the way of the journey. They are very exiting. More l read the book, more l was inspired to read it. I recommend that you read the book.

I chose "The Catcher in the Rye" by Salinger as my book report.
I knew the author when I was a junior high school student. I thought his works were characteristic of its title. So I chose the work which has the most fascinated title. By the way, this is the first time that I read the book which is so called masterpiece and also in English. It was rather difficult to understand whole story in details but in the point of feeling the nature of the original, so good opportunity. For next book report, I decide to read "The Sun Also Rises" by Hemingway.

I chose The Notebook for my book report.
This book was written by Nicholas Sparks. 

This story is perfect love story between Noah and Allie.
They fall in love in summer when they were teenager. For some reason, they split, but both of them cannot forget about summer love.
14 years later they met again, and they fall in love again!
I am very sad because I cannot write about everything about this book in this blog.
It was very difficult for me to suppress the number of letters in my book report too, like “Just enough, not too much.” 

I am planning that I want to choose Adventures of Huckleberry Finn for my next book report.
I take two classes about American literature, and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was introduced as classics in both class. In addition, I am interested to how the boy confronts against racial problem.
I am looking forward to reading Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Book Report

I chose Lord of the Flies written by Willian Golding for my book report. The novel describes survival days of young boys. It has been filmed in 1963 and in 1990. I watched the later version.

I'm very busy finishing the assignment because the novel is difficult for me to read and I have a lot of things to do this week. So I want to complete the report as soon as possible.

My sister's birthday

Last Saturday was my sister's birthday. But I had to go school and my sister went to dinner with her friends on that day. So I and my family went to the restaurant near a mountain of Takao to celebrate it on Sunday. It was great and delicious dinner. I was very happy because I could spend time with my beloved family after a long time. But I haven't give her birthday present so I have to buy it as soon as possible.

Pocky day!

Today is a Pocky Day!!!

11/11 is a pocky day and many people in Japan buys pocky and bring them to school and somewhere.

In 2011, I was in Middle school, and I still remember the day, 11/11/2011. Whole class celebrated 11/11/2011, 11:11,11second. It occurred during math class, but the class was full of acclaim!
It was so memorial!

Book Report

The book I chose for my book report is The catcher in the rye. I think most of you have at least heard of the title. I chose this book because I knew it’s been famous for such a long time.

This is a story about a boy who was kicked out of school. There are some points that I agreed with him in the book as I hated school. I don’t think everyone likes this book, some people may not like this but I also think some will love it. Personally, I like this book. As it hasn’t got a film, it’s hard to write a book report for me but it’s got some books translated into Japanese. I read one Haruki Murakami translated. I thought his translation was easy to read. I haven’t finished my book report yet. I’ll work hard on it.

Illumination

Today, I went to see illumination in Ebisu Garden Place with my best friend. It was so beautiful and we loved it. If you have time, I recommend you to go there, because it is just wonderful! 

We ate supper together too. It was delicious.

Since I have been stressed out doing so many assignment and so many things to do. So it was nice way to release my stress. 

I love watching illuminations. Tokyo has so many place to see them! I want to see more of them, so if you have recommend, please let me know! 

Xmas Disney

Tokyo Disney Resort is holding Xmas Disney now! I like Xmas season the best in all season. I'll go to Tokyo Disney Sea in December, but I hope to go to Tokyo Disney Land too in Xmas season. However, l don't have enough money and time, so I may be not able to go there... If you went there, please tell me your impressions!

The Chiyoda Line

I always use the Chiyoda Line to commute.
This train is terribly jammed during the rush hours. So, I feel blue a little in the day when my class begins at first period or my class is over at fifth period.
In crowded train, I often step on someone’s foot and often my foot is stepped. Therefore I avoid wearing my favorite shoes especially white or pale color shoes in such a situation.

The Chiyoda Line has some well-known stations like Kasumigaseki, the Diet Building, and Akasaka. I remember when I went to school for the first time and felt very excited. I think it is wonderful I can pass through the main place as I commute.

The remains of the day

I chose the book called the "The Remains of the Day" for my book report. It is written by Kazuo Ishiguro.
On Sunday I borrowed the movie in TSUTAYA. I was planning to watch it yesterday but I struggled with my homework and ran out of time.
I must watch it today! I'm very excited to see it.

Today's dinner

Good evening!
This big pizza is today's dinner!
It is very delicious, but I can’t eat all of them.
I know the pizza is high in calories, but the pizza which I eat in midnight is the most delicious. I am very happy now.
This pizza will allow me to watch beautiful dream.

Sleeping time.

These days my sleeping hours is less than five.
I don't know whether this is enough or not but on the train to school I always feel tried and
sleep almost every time.
I think I would go to bed early today and continue writing my book report tomorrow.

ALXD

I rented a CD whose title is ALXD last week. It is the latest album of [Alexandros] .
[Alexandros] is one of the most famous  rock bands. I am a fan of the band and I sometimes imitate the  hairstyle of the vocalist. (The man who wears black suit in the photo below. )

 Although all songs are really good, I especially like "Wataridori", "Oblivion", "Droshky!", and "Dog 3". (You can watch the Youtube music videos of these 4 songs if you are interested in. They are very good!!)

The Great Gatsby

I choose "The Great Gatsby" as a book report.
I though it is not that interesting but after I read a book and watched a movie, I found it very interesting!
I had fun reading and watching movie.
I will try hard writing book report!
I recommend this book so hard!

The squid and the whale

I watched this movie called, The Squid and the Whale. It is a movie from 2005. It was a little weird movie as the way I like. I didn't get what the director wanted to tell us when I saw it. However, it all made sense after I googled the analysis of the movie. I even I had a little explosion inside of my head. I would give four stars out of five!

TOKYO MOTOR SHOW2015

I went to TOKYO MOTOR SHOW2015 last week.
It was held every two years.

There were a lot of people and very crowded.
It takes me about 6 hours to look all cars.
There were separated to some areas and we can see
almost every car company in the world.


There were some japan premium cars.
I took a lot of pictures.


I enjoyed this motor show very much.
