Stanley Pickle

The story takes place in the country side where Stanley lives in the house with his robot parents. The conflict of the story is person vs. himself. The story climaxes when Stanley finally meets the girl and brings her a robot bird to make the girl happy. Symbols of the story are humans and robots, which means that humans have freedom and creativity, however robots are limited to what they can do and emotionless. Irony is the fact that Stanley feels comfortable living with fake parents locking himself in the house, however he demands to be free and be like other humans. The theme of the story is human relationship. He does not know how to communicate with other humans, because he only interacts with robots and toys, however he had made his first step.
