Mirage

The settings of this short film is inside the water, probably on the bed of a pool or artificial pond. The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day outside the water.
The conflict is with the main character, the robot vs himself.
The sunshine above the surface of the water symbolize the happiness that is so close to you yet, you cannot reach. In contrast, the bottom of the pool being dark and grey expresses the main character's helpless feelings. In addition, when the robot finally finds peace in his mind after saving fish by picking it up into his water chest, the chest glows in orange light symbolizing the hope and the happiness.

Irony of the story is that in spite of him actually being in the water, he cannot see it and keeps on searching for water to survive.

The climax is when he finally finds the great source of  water after his long journey, he realizes there is also a living thing inside the bud filled with water. Yet, he takes the water out of the bud to survive as a fish comes out gasping for water. He then starts to feel guilt and regret what he has done. He picks up the fish and puts it into his water tank. By doing so, he finally releases himself from his eternal desire and finds himself swimming in the water.

The theme of the video is people often search for what they think they are looking for but when you take a close look you would realize you already have everything around you.
