The film takes place in a country side. The character are Stanley and his parents and the mysterious girl. The climax of the film is the part when Stanley buries his parents. The irony in this film is that Stanley thought it was the right thing to revive the bird but it wasn't. The conflict is Stanley verses himself. The symbol in this film is the wind-up spring which represents life. The main theme is that life destiny cant be chosen by human hand.
