To Konomi

We had so much fun today!
I didn't buy anything but I enjoyed a lot.
We ate alot.
That ice cream was awesome:)
We should try to lose weight.

Shopping With Erika

I went shopping with Erika after school in Shibuya and Harajuku. First we were supposed to shop in Harajuku, but we couldn't find anything good ,so moved to Shibuya. I bought a jacket which was expensive to me. I've been spending much money recently... I wasn't like this before starting a part time job. But I still could enjoy today's shopping :) Erika didn't buy anything at all though. I hope I didn't bother her. Both of us are on diet now so that we ate low calory food for dinner. But then Erika found 31's Halloween special ice cream so we ended up eating that :(
It was YUM. But we definitely got fat. argh :,( I wish I wouldn't get fat even if i eat whatever i want.

Last weekend

I had a Halloween party on Saturday with my co-workers. Me and my friend dressed up as corpse brides. And my other friend was snow white. We had a party in shibuya and before that, we met a bit early and got ready for the party. People were staring at us and some of them asked us to take photos with them! It was fun actually. About 300 people came to the party and the most exciting part was the moving to Roppongi from Shibuya by trains! A track of train was fulled with cosplayed people. I couldn't enjoy Halloween last year this much since I was studying hard for university around this time last year. It was a blast!

Absent

I was absent from last class because I was broken my stomach...
I was absent from all class last week;;;
My doctor said it was allergy.
I was surprised that dust mites do a great deal of damage to the stomach though I had had a heavy cough by recently.
Do you have any allergy?

There are two octopuses that love each other. The female one is pink, and the male one is orange. But then, the female one was taken away by man to cook. Knowing that, the male one still remains in the pool, got out of it and run after the octopus. The octopuses and man had a fight and finally, the two octopuses could reunite and run away from him. No sooner than reliving that they could get away, a sea gull took away the male octopus. This time, the female one run after the sea gull.
I think the female octopus would successfully get the male one back, because their love seems to be strong.

Octopadi

There were two octopuses in a fish tank. One octopus whose skin color is orange is male, and the other one whose skin color is pink is female. At first, they were in the same fish tank. But, a man came to the fish tank and took the pink octopus to his car. Then the orange octpus rushed out of the fish tank and chased the car to save the pink octopus. Cathing up the car, the male octopus attacked the man and they managed to escaped the man. But, finally the orange octopus was caught by the sea mew.

Thank you very much!!

Oktapodi

In a town near the ocean, there are two octopuses in a fish tank. The orange one is a male and the pink one is a female. They love each other. Suddenly, a man takes the pink one to another place to process for consumption by his car. The orange one gets out of the tank in order to get his lover back. He could attach to the car but the man attacks him. While they are fighting, the pink one succeeds in stopping the car and gets out. As a reaction, the two octopuses are blown away from the car. They run down a river to escape. However, the man catches them, exposing his upper body on the outside of the car. As soon as the octopuses are captured by washing lines, the car falls into the sea because of his bad driving. At the moment they get relieved, a sea gull catches the orange one and fly away. Then the other one pulls the line and fly into the sky.
I think she can get him back and live in the sea together after the end of the movie.

Aoyama Festival

Today, I went to the Aoyama Festival with Madoka! The festival was very crowded.

We saw Yoko and Suzuka and eat their circle's food, frankfurt and smily potato. Those were very delicious! They worked very hard then. We were very happy to see them (*^^*)
Also, we went to watch Sonoko and Maiko's works. Sonoko's painting and Maiko's movie were very beautiful! They are very good artist.
We ate a lot of food and watched a lot of program. I had a very good time.
To participants of IE members; Thanks for all your hard work and good luck tomorrow!
And thank you, Madoka!

Oktapodi

There are two octopuses, the orange male one and the pink female one, and the man who is a driver.
At first, they are together in the same water tank, but the man take the pink one, put her in the box and load it on the track. The orange octopus think the pink one will be sold, and he chase the pink one. The orange octopus hinders the driver and tries to save her. The man tries to stop him, and his driving becomes dangerous. The man continue to stop him and also the orange octopus tries to save the pink octopus.
At last, the track falls to the ocean, and at that time two octopuses hang on an electric wire. However, the orange octopus is taken away by a bird. Then, the pink octopus tries to chase him. This is the climax of this story.
I think two octopuses' relationship is boyfriend and girlfriend. The thing they want to do is to be together and save each other. I think the pink octopus will save the orange octopus from a bird.

The main character is an orange male octopus. He loves a pink female octopus who is his girlfriend. However, the pink octopus is taken away by a driver. They leave for the sea but the orange octopus is taken away by a sea mew. The pink octopus will try to get the orange octpus back. There were two octopuses in an aquarium. The orange one was male and the pink one was female. They loved each other. One day a man took away the pink one to sell. The orange one guessed she would be cooked and he decided to chase her to save. He managed to help her out from a tank in a truck and they got away into a pool aiming at the sea, but the driver ran after them. They were caught. They attacked him and succeeded to flee. When the driver tried to catch them again, he fall into the sea together with the truck. They got relieved but it was a brief of time. A kind of seabird carried off the orange one. The pink one scowled at the bird and launched to save her boyfriend.

I think she would succeed to save her boyfriend and they live happily ever after in the sea.

Octopadi

There were three main characters in the story. The hero was a male octopus who's color was orange. Heroine was his girlfriend who was a pink octopus and she was very tough. The last main character was a tall, thin, and bad look man who was the role of a villain.
The two octopuses loved each other. They were dancing in the water tank. Suddenly, only a female octopus was picked by the man and took away with him by his car. The male octopus thought his girl friend were going to be cooked, so he ran after the car which got on her and he tried to save her. The two succeeded to run away together. However the man was persistent and ran after the two octopuses. He managed to catch them, but they fled again. The man went mad and tried to catch the two hard, but finally he couldn't and crashed into the sea. Though the story seemed to come to a happy ending, the male octopus was caught by a bird that time. His girlfriend saw that, and poised to jump on the bird so as to beat the bird. The story finished then. I think she succeeded to attack the bird and help him.

In a port town, a couple of octopus, a male yellow one and a female pink one, leads a happy life in a tank. One day, however, a man takes a pink octopus to sell. Oktapodi

In Greece, maybe in the morning, two octopuses, yellow male one and pink female one, were hugging in an aquarium.
Suddenly a man's hand grabbed pink octopus and put her into a box, and carried it to a car. He wanted to cook and eat her. Yellow octopus decided to help her and to run away from such a cruel man with his girlfriend. He chased the car. He fought against the man bravely.
Pink octopus got out of the box and they fought against him together. The man didn't watch out for the way they were running, so he and his car dived into the sea. Two octopuses were free now, they looked at each other, then a bird came and grabbed yellow one with its claw and flied away. Pink octopus glared at the bird and chased them. I think they will keep chasing each other over and over.

One day, it was maybe at a town in Greece, the pink octopus was carried off by the fisherman, so the man was an enemy to the octopuses. The yellow octopus tried to rescue her, and so the fisherman and the yellow octopus fought. Finally, the octopuses were able to run away from the man. The octopuses won! However, a sea gull took the yellow octopus, so the pink octopus tried to rescue him. She was a brave octopus. The movie ended there, but I think she can rescue her boyfriend, and they will live happily ever after.

Jiburi Movie Sleepover

I watched Jiburi movie few days ago with my friends. Risako was there too. We watched Jiburi movie. The first one is "Mimiwo-sumaseba". It is a love story. Many people say this movie is great. But I didn't like it much. It was pretty boring love story. Actually, I was sleepy at that time, so I was half-awake and half-sleepy. I didn't recognize all the story. The second movie was "Sento-Chihiro". I saw this few years ago. However, I forget the story. So, this time it reminds me of the story. I love this movie so much. I was thinking what would I do if my parent turned into a pig one day. I don't want to think! The last movie was "Haulu". I have never seen this movie. But I was really sleepy that I slept at the begining. So, I don't know what this movie is about. It was awesome sleepover. We will do this movie sleepover again!

Transgendered people in Thailand

1) Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?
I think the actual rate of transgender people is the same in any countries. There are just so many people who regard themselves as transgendered and have told that to the world in Thailand. In the countries where transgendered people do not have the same rights as non-transgender people or many people have biased view against them, ones may hesitate to give out that they are transgendered even if they know that they are. Furthermore, ones who do not know what transgender is can not regard themselves as transgendered even if they feel uncomfortable with their bodies. There are many transgender people in Thailand, because they have the same rights as other people and many of them are open-minded to them.

2) What do you think about transgendered people and their civil rights?
I think that transgendered people basically have to be given the same rights as other ones. However, it can cause difficult problems in some cases, for example, adaptation. In countries where many people have a prejudice against them, a child who has been adopted as a family member of a transgendered couple may not be treated well in society or school. Therefore, these problems have to be treated carefully.
I hope that studies on transgender people will be more developed in order to let them have many ways to solve their concerns.

About Transgender in Thailand

1)Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?
I think Thailand is flexible and accept transgender people. People in Thailand may don't have prejudice for transgender people. Or government in Thailand may make a system that accept transgender people, so there are so many transgender people in Thailand.

2)What do you think about transgender people and their civil rights?
I think transgender people should be given their civil rights. Some Japanese people have prejudice for transgender people, but they are the same people. It's a bad thing not to think of people, so I think it's not bad to exist transgender people in society, and  they should  be given their civl rights.

about transgender people in Thailand

1) Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?
I think the reason there are many transgender people in Thailand is related to the idea about transgender. In Japan, most people think that transsexualism is a kind of illness. However, most people in Thailand don't think so. Thanks to this idea, many transgender people can live comfortably in Thailand.

2) What do you think about transgender and their civilization?
Many Japanese people may think that transgender is not related to them. Although I think transsexualism is a kind of illness, I don't think transgender people is strange. In order that they can live more comfortably, we should deepen our understanding of transgender.

My part time job

I work at a Japanese style bar. Gradually, I've been accustomed to my job, but I am very tired every time working. Especially, on Friday and Saturday, many people come there. It's Friday today, so I'll do my best.

About transgender people in Thailand

1) Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?
In Thailand, there are a lot of the poor and they have many children. I heard that in Thailand, men are difficult to get better job unless having good academic background, so the boys in poor are more difficult to get job than the girls. I think that the background make men change their consciousness, in short, they live as women. Besides, the skill of sex chage operation in Thailand is very high level, so men which want to live as women can challenge the operation easily. Actually, many Japanese men go to Thailand to change their sex. maybe Thailand is the country which is the most hospitable to transgender in any country.
2) What do you think about transgender people and their civil rights?
I think transgender people should have civil rights. Lately, 'gender identity disorder' has been known to many people, and many people are suffering from their sex. We should understand their suffering and be generous to them.

about transgender people in Thailand

1) Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?
When I was watching TV one day , the topic of that TV program was about Thailand. There are so many facilities and comfortable places to live for those people. Also, in 2007, sexual rights activists in Thailand came together as a coalition to demand that their right to be included in the new constitution. Their demand included the rights to non-discrimination, same-sex marriage and inheritance rights for same-sex couples. These rights help transgendered people to live comfortably. That's why there are so many of them in Thailand.

2)What do you think about transgender people and their civil rights?
At first, when I know about transgender people, I thought they were a little strange. But now, I think there are no difference between them and normal people. They spend their time like we do everyday. However, many countries are not accept those people like Thailand do. I hope someday a lots of transgendered people can live wherever they want.

Good morning

Good morning! This is Ayana.

I’m very sleepy now because I didn’t have much time to sleep well these days.

However I’ll do my best to study in today’s classes!

I’m looking forward to meeting you all IE members(^^)

Media Discussion Paper

I have just finished making Media Discussion Paper.
I'm a little tired.
I'm so indecisive that I can't choose one article quickly.
I want to be a decisive person.

Aoyama Festival

Some people has posted about the Aoyama festival. My club, fencing club, is going to sell churros there. We'll have many flavours, so please please come and buy lots and lots!! Churros is delicious, so you could buy not only for yourself but also for your family, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, teachers and pets! I'll be waiting for you. :-D

to Yoko

Hi, Yoko. I read your posting about Aoyama Festival.
Probably, I will have to stay at Aoyama Festival whole three days, so I can go your stand.
If I can go, I will take "smily potato." The name is very cute! I'm looking forward to see the cute potatos.

to Yuka

Thank you for watching my movie!
I'm glad to hear you like my pictures.
The pictures of Europe are taken in England.
I love the sight of England, so I want many people to watch them.
Making movie is not so difficult work. If you have a PC, some pictures, a lot of time, and the interest in making movie, you can make it! I use suftware, Windows movie maker. I think most PCs, which are windows have this soft, so you can try it.

to Shuko

Thank you very much for watching my movie!!
I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it.
It was hard to make it, and I made special effort to create the opening and ending.
Anyway, thank you for your comment!

to Sonoko

Thank you for your coment about my movie.
As you think, I used pictures of Kiyosato in this movie.
However, I took last one in Kagoshima when I visited my grandparent in this summer.

about Transgender People

1)Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?
I don't think there are so many transgender people in Thailand, because I think there are a lot of transgender people all over the world. However, we can meet transgender people more easily in Thailand. As we watched in the movie, Thailand have those people right. That is, those people can live as others. On the other hand, other countries have prejudice against transgender people, so those people hide that they are transgender to avoid discrimination.
2) What do you think about transgender and their civilization?
I think transgender is one of the sex. There are so many people all over the world, so it is difficult to divide people into two types. The more international the world has became , the more various the way of thinking will become. It is not so strange that type of sex devides. I think all the transgender people have the right to have their civilization.

Jiburi series

Last Friday, I saw Jiburi movies with my seniors and friends at home. We saw three movies. However, I'm very tired that day, so I slept during the movies. I think sleeping time was longer than watching time. I wish the next time is held and i want to see all of the movies.

A busy week

This week I have so many things to do. From last saturday to this Wednesday every night I had to do my part time job. I feel sick at Bigmac because recently it became cheap and people keep ording it. I have to make about 200 Bigmac every day.
When I came home from work, I had to finsh a lot of homework I havn't tough my PSP and PS3 for nearly a week, so this weekend I'm gonna take a break and relax myself.

About transgender people in Thailand

1) Why are these so many transgender people in Thailand?
I think the proportion of transgender should almost be the same in every country all over the world. The reason why it looks like there are many transgender in Thailand is because transgender in Thailand have more courage to show themselves. In other country like Japan or China, transgender always hide deeply and try to act like normal person. They are afraid of discrimination from others, but in Thailand people are more receptible about these things.

2) What do you think about transgender people and civil right?
Being a transgender is not something they can choose or control. I think there are no difference between them and other women, so they should be treated just like others. May be it needs some time to let other people accept them, just like gay. At first gay people weren’t be treated equitable too, but now they were accepted by most people.

About transgender people in Thailand

1) Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?

I haven't heard this fact, so I didn't know why. I researched in Internet and learned about this. Thailand is Buddhist country and the maternal society. Although there are discrimination awareness a little, people in Thailand are tolerant about transgender and homosexual love. There are many drag queens. A sex change operation is legal and Thailand accepts many patients.

2) What do you think about transgender people and their civil right?

I think transgender people aren't the problem. Human's thought and feeling are various. And transgender people may be distressed about it. We don't have the reason we dislike those people. And we have to respect their right. Although they are transgender people, they are human the same as us. We mustn't discriminate them any more.

Transgendered People

(1)
I think the reason is the high technology in Thailand. Recently, I saw TV program which many transgendered people talked about their lives. Most of them said Thailand is the greatest country to have the transgender operation because of its technology. The transgender technology in Thailand is really progressed comparing other countries. In fact, most of the people who have the transgender operation said they had the operation in Thailand.
Also, Thailand is known as the warm country. The Japanese are unfamiliar with transgendered people. On the other hand, people in Thailand are familiar with those people, so I think many transgendered people in Thailand.
(2)
I think transgendered people have the same civil rights as the other people. even if they are transgendered people, nothing is different with other people. They should not be discriminated. We should make the world that transgendered people can spend comfortable life and don't feel the difference between them and other people.

About transgender people in Thailand

1) Why are these so many transgender people in Thailand?

Thailand is Buddhism country. According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhism_by_country), more than 90 percent of Thai were Buddhist at a time. I have once heard that Buddhism allows about changing gender, so I think Thailand people tend to think about it more tolerate.

2) What do you think about transgender people and civil right?

I think the civil rights for transgender people should be allowed because they suffer the gap from society because of their natures. I think people should consider how transgender people have a difficulty in spending their lives.

Reading a book

Hi there :D
Lately I found how reading a book is interesting. I can't read well in English, it's hard for me to imagine the scene. Is there any knack of reading in English?
I haven't read the book for the bookreport at all. I want to read it in Japanese :/
Anyway can you recommend a book you like to me? If you can, I'm so glad.

Transgender people in Thailand

1) Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?
I really didn't know why there are lots of transgender people, so I researched for the reasons on the Internet. First, in Thailand, there are more fatherless families than any other country because of a climate. Originally it has happened. However, I think there is also another reason for it. In there, most people have profound insights into transgender people. Almost all people feel for them and regard them as company. Thailand is a heart-warming country. This fact makes transgender people be themselves.

2) What do you think about transgender people and their civil rights?
I'll accept transgender people because they aren't different from us as humans. We shouldn't discriminate against them. In reality, however, almost all countries have a tendency to consider them as different people from us. We all should admit that transgender people have civil rights.
1 Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?

Recently, I often see Thailand on TV because of the occurrence of a flood and I realized that Thai prime minister is female. From this, I guessed the reason why there are so many transgenser people in Thailand is related to women's status and I gathered information on the Internet. I found that most transgender people are man-to-female transsexuals. It is said that females have a will to work more than males, so some of males admire being female in Thailand. It is also said that many couples divorce in Thailand and males who was raised his mother feel respect for females. The reason is that males have aspirations for females and that Thai people are generous and open for gender.

2 What do you think about transgender people and civil rights?

I think we should accept transgender people. It is hard to be different appearance from mind. Transgender people are ill, so to speak. We should help them. I think civil rights are indications of approval, so they are so necessary.

Aoyama Festival

We will hold Aoyama festival on October 28th~30th.
My club, Riko Tennis Club, will sell "smily potato."
If you are going to come Aoyama festival, please drop in!

About transgender people in Tailand

1)Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand?
I think it's because most people in Thailand accept transgender people. In Japan, we don't understand these people well, and those people don't assert themselves. On the other hand, their existence is natural and they are hardly discriminated in Thailand so they can live without hiding their true natures.

2)What do you think about transgender people?
I think there is not so mush difference between me and transgender people. Though I don't have friends or acquaintances who are transgender, I can be on good terms with them if I have. I hope not only Thailand but also many other countries become confortable for these people to live.

Transgender in Thailand

(1) Why are these so many transgender people in Thailand?
I think there're so many transgender people in the world, but some of them don't confide that.
I guess in Thailand, people understand about transgender. That country is comfortable for transgender people, so they confide their real gender.

2) What do you think about transgender people and civil right?
There're some transgender people in Japan as well. They can change their body and their gender in family registration. They can live their life as a man or a women. But there's still some probrem. To be operated, they need much money. They have to get the money on their own, but that's not so easy. They need a right to get support to be operated.

Transgender People in Thailand

I enjoyed watching the video in the last IE core class. I think Thai people are tolerant, as Thailand is often called "the country of smile". Also, most people on Thai are Buddists and Thai is basically matriarchal country, so they are tolerant and respect individuals. I think that's why there are many transgender people in Thailand. I think it is natural that transgender people have the civil rights because they are never criminal or dengerous people. They are not different from other people, so we mustn't discriminate them. I think it is great and important that transgender people live happily in every society.

A happy day!

I'm so sleepy now, but I won't go to bet so as not to late the first period. I'm going to study spanish from now on.

Now

Dinner with friends

Yesterday night, I ate dinner with my friends. I became friends with them at cram school last year. At that time, all of us aimed at different university, but finally we entered AGU(^^) We ate chinese noodles as usual and talked variety of things. One of them got girl friend! After eating, we went Jin's house and continued to talk about lately events, or dreams. Next week we will go cram school and tell how we are getting on. It was wonderful day!!

My part-time job

Good evening, everyone! This is Mai.
Today, I'll tell you about my part-time job.

I've worked as a teacher at a cram school in Fuchinobe since this July. I teach jounior high school students English, math and social studies now.
At first, I was upset a lot and I don't know how to approach them. But now, I get used to teaching and I and students become very friendry. Since my cram shool is far from Fuchinobe station, I have to take a lot of time to get there. And after the work, I have to go home and do housework, too. I'm always tired the day of job. But my students are very meek and pretty! Their smiles always make me happy. I love them and this job very much :)
Teaching is very difficult job, but I'll do my best from now on. And I want to be "charisma" teacher!!

Transgender inThailand

1)Why are there so many trancegender people in Thailand?
There are many transgender people in Thailand, but I think it doesn't mean "People in Thailand tend to be transgender." Maybe, this is the reason why they are Mahayana Buddhist. They tend to believe "Samasara(the transmigration of the soul)." Therefore, they think transgender people are influenced by their previous existance, and they have the culture that accept transgender.
So, transgender people in other countries are probably as well as Thailand. However, almost all people in other countries don't have the culture like that of Thailand. They are perhaps influenced by their religion a little.
It doesn't mean Thailand has especially many transgender people.
2)What do you think about to transgender people and their several rights?
Transgender people are not so different from us. Certainly their sex and gender are not same, but they don't harm to other people. We should admit this is their character. So people have to give social rights for them just like us.

Transgendered people

1) Why are there so many tansgender people in Thailand?
I think that the actual number of transgernder people does not have a large difference in any countries. But , in some countries , people have a bias to transgender people. It need a certain courage to announce that fact. On the contrary, thai people do not have a prejudice againt them , so they do not have to hesitate to confess that they are transgender people. That is why there are so many transgender people in Thailand, I think.
2)What do you think about transgender people and their civil right?
They did not do anything to be blamed of. They should have a right as we have. We need to make an effort to create a society that they can live comfortably.

About transgender people

(1) Why are these so many transgender people in Thailand?

According to informations which I searched on the Web, Thailand is a Buddhist country and a matrilineal society. That's why Thailand is tolerant of transgender people. Also, transsexual surgery is legal, so technique of surgery is better than any other country. For these reason, transgender people of other countries come to Thailand more and more, so I think there are many people in Thailand.

(2) What do you think about transgender people and civil right?

I think transgender people should be accepted by the public. I have once seen transgender people curiouly, but now I don't definitely see them like that. Recently, there are meny transgender people who express themselves confidently. I think it's very good. If many transgender people do that, it becomes easy for them to live in public still more. Transgender is personality, so I think it is a matter of course that their civil rights should be approved.

yesterday

I baked bread that contained a sweet potato. I like cooking very much and often cook, but it was the first time that I baked bread. I was worried if I could do that well, but I think I was able to do for my experience. Fresh bread was so soft and fluffy, but it was springy after it got cold. Today I gave it Kazue. She said it was very delicious and I felt glad and relieved. Iwant to try various kinds of dishes, but I think I have to study harder at the same time.

Honey Power

Hello. This is Shiori. I have caught a cold. My esophagus and throuat started aching 2 days ago and I was coughing whole day today, so I had tea with a spoonfull of honey. Honey is good for cough and sore throat. You can try it when you get a cold.
I recently study TOEIC test, so I practice listening to English because I'm bad at listening. I'm going to take the TOEIC test next January. Since I haven't taken TOEIC test, I'm worried about whether I can get a good score. I study as hard as possible.

To Maiko

I watched your movie this morning. The pictures you chose are all beautiful! I like the pictures of Europe and the countryside very much! You are good at making videos. I was amused at the technique that old picture become many small squares and then appears the new one behind the old one.

Transgender people in Thailand

1)Why are there so many transgender people in Thailand
I think Thai is broad-mindedness to transgendered people. Thailand has a right for them so they can open their true aspects. In japan if someone is transgendered, he/she can't even tell this things to their own parents because transgender isn't socially accepted widely. Many other country may also have many transgendered people but they don't have right created by country for that reason they don't appear regular society so we don't see transgendered people frequently, I think. Moreover, Thai can easily take surgery of changing sex more than any other countries. Therefore Thailand has meny transgendered people.

2)What do you think about transgendered people and their civil right.
I think people have right to express ourselves. It's not good to conceal own personality so more and more many transgendered people should express their true phase. In order to realize that, including Japan many other country must establish the right for transgendered people. I heard Thai has restroom for transgendered people, this is really good. They are treated equally. Transgender is one of the individuality so society should accept them as soon as possible and we make batter society that they can work as they really are.

About Transgendered Peole

1), Why Are There So Many Transgendered Peole In Thailand?

As I saw in the video in the last class, Thanks to Crystal, there now is a law in Thailand, which allows Transgendered people to live their life to the fullest. It says that there must not be any descrimination against transgendered people.

This law is one of the main reason of maintaining peace between transgendered people and not transgendered people in Thailand. But there seems to be one big another reason. It's the Medical Technology. I looked up some websites and they said that Thai medical technology is the greatest in the world and is especially advanced in Transgender surgery.

Lately I hear a lot about transgendered people in Thailand. For example, there is a movie called " The Hangover 2 " which was filmed in Thailand and the climax of this movie is about the transgendered people. Not to mention that I highly recommend this movie. Not only on movie, but on TV shows, i see lots of gorgeous transgendered people in Thailand. Thailand is the most comfortable country for transgendered people to live in, regarding the law and the medical treatment.

2), What Do You Think About Transgendered People And Their Civil Rights?

When i was still a child, I actually found those people weird.Looking back, i don't know why but maybe i just couldn't get used to it at that time. But there are now lots of transgendered celebrities on Japanese TV, which must be really strange in other countries like the Unites States. People in Japan are getting used to see those people because of those TV shows. We all love each person's character and I actually thought that people shouldn't really be judged by their looks. I'm attracted to their character too. So my conclusion is that All people should be treated equally. It doesn't matter if you are transgendered. Their civil rights should be just like ours too . I wonder why it has to be a special civil rights for transgendered people.

Recently

The day before yesterday, when i woke up in the morning, i felt dizzy and had a sore throat. i knew in a moment that i caught cold. People around me including my father ,have got to catch cold recently. Of course i do wash my hands and my mouth after coming back from outside but my father doesn't cover his mouth when he coughs. i don't feel well about that. It's because when i'm the first one to catch cold and he then catch cold, he always blames me for bringing cold my house. Now he is the first one and when i blame him for that, he just denies that it's not his fault :(. Anyways, Be careful of cold everyone,be sure to wash your hands and your mouth when you come home!

About transgender

Hi, I will talk about transgender in Thailand.1) Why are so many transgender in Thailand?
Like I said before, I have lived in Thailand. I saw many transgender people. It is true that there are so many of them. There are even a show of transgender people. They look so pretty in the show. I thought they are prettier than some real women. I think the reason why there are so many of them is that the rights for them is created. Thailand is the only country. So, many transgender people feel comfortable saying that they are transgender. It is a good environment for them. No discrimination in Thailand. Also, orthopedic surgery is well advanced compared to other countries.

2) What do you think about transgender people and their civil right?
People should have the right to express themselves. I like that Thailand made this rights for transgender people. Because of this, transgender people don't have to hesitate to express themselves. This rights should be made even in Japan.

Transgender people in Thailand

1) Why are there so many tansgender people in Thailand?

I think transgender people are socially accepted in Thailand and the technology of a sex change operation is highly developed, so there are many transgender people in Thailand. Conversely, transgender people are regarded as strange ones in japan. Therefore, the people who are male but actually have girl's mind can't tell the truth that they are transgender people to others.

2) What do you think about transgender people and their civil rights?

Transgender people are not gulty and not criminal. They just wear the clothes they like and they just love a person they felt in love. We have no authority and reason to bind their life. They should live without restriction by their nations. I don't know why the nation ristricts their rights.
The nations should give them the equal rights as we have.

assignment about transgendered people

1) Why are there so many transgendered people in Thailand?
I think it is because people don't think transgendered people are peculiar in Thailand. It is easy to say "I am transgendered person," in Thailand.
While in most of the countries like Japan, a sex transformation is unfamiliar thing. Then, transgendered people are thought strange there. However, Thailand is different from these countries. That's why I answered like that.
I researched about this question on the Internet. If you are interested in it, look this!
http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/ and "トランスジェンダー タイ"

2) What do you think about transgendered people and their civil rights?
I think it is difficult to deal with transgender. I can't imagine that my body and mind have different thinking about gender. Transgendered people must undergo hardships, so I think they are worthy. Also, they should have their civil rights.

to Maiko

I watched your movie, it was very interesting to watch. I enjoyed it because there was a lot of beautiful view of various places. I think your movie is a elaborate work! Opening and Ending were also amusing. Many people will feel nostalgia through your movie.

to Maiko

Your movie is kinda nostalgic. I think the way the movie ends is nice. Pictures of sunset are really beautiful!
I guess some of the pictures were taken in this summer, weren't they? :D

Tango Therapy

I think that this Tango therapy is an epoch-making  therapy, and it's a very good idea. Tango is a dance with opposite sex, so this dance improve the circulation of the blood, and melts seniors' hearts. However, the seniors who can't move their body can't dance. This is an only faults with Tango therapy.

I'm tired.

I'm sleepy because I prepared for today's newsdiscussion and so on yesterday.
It is difficult to find news article, isn't it?
At last semester, I felt so hard to do that.
Anyway, I'll do the best as for this semester.
See you later!

sleepy

I'm very very sleepy now.
I had a lot of assignment this week, and last weekend I had Sagamihara Festival,
so this week was so busy and hard.x(
This week, I've been only taking 3 hours of sleep everyday.
If I sleep at class, please knock me up!

Tango Therapy

As I read this article, I agree to have tango therapy and I thought this is very good idea. This is because as it says on the article, tango therapy, Argentine dance has an amazing effect of reinvigorating both body and mind. This helps senile people to keep fit and dancing with opposite sex helps rejuvenate senior women. Also it enhance stimulus and it is more effective than most exercise in improving athletic functions. In my opinion, we should widen this activity to the world so as to keep senile people's mind young and stay healthy.

Good morning!

Hi! I'm Ayano Imai and this is my first posting to this blog. I'm not good at speaking English and I feel really nervous when I speak in front of people, so I will do my best in this IE3 class and become a better speaker! See you later!

Tango Therapy

I think tango therapy has good points. Old people tends not to do any exercise. However, this therapy made the old people cheerful and good health care.
My grandmother is 78 years old and she walk every early morning. So she is cheerful and active any time. it is very important thing for old people to do and enjoy exercise. Tango therapy is one of the way to old people, i think. So each old person must find the best way.

About Tango therapy

I think this idea is very good.
First, moving body makes them cheerful. As we become older, we tend to sit and the chance that we move is decrease. Tango isn't so hard, so they can enjoy dancing.
Second, contact with other people also makes them happy. Human can't live without other people and when we spend time with others, we feel comfortable. And elder feel it strong, I think.
From this reasons, this therapy is the good chance elder people refresh. If there are chances, I try to dance with elders. I want to make them happy and smiley.

I'm hungry..

I'm always feeling hungry. Now I want to eat something, but it's too late so I'll go to bed so that I can forget this hunger. I'm in the fencing club and I get exercise a lot, so it is so easy for me to get hungry and eat a lot. Oh.....I can't wait for breakfast!!!!

Tomorrow

We IE3 members have the IE core class tomorrow.
I already finished all the assignments of the class, but I'm little bit nervous of tomorrow's news discussion.
I'm not good at speaking in English, but I'll do my best!
I also wish you good luck! :)

Coffee tree

My potted coffee trees withered and died today. I was looking forward to see them bearing seeds.
They cost me some , so I am disappointed a little. Next time , I want to grow white radish sprouts. I heard they are easy to grow. I hope I can succeed next time.

about books

I chose a book to write Book Report today, I selected "Around The World In Eighty Days".This book was wrote by Jules Verne. He is famous as the auther of "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea." I'm interested in his Science Fiction. However, I have a little nervous because this story is a little long to finish...

Tango Therapy

I think tango therapy is a good idea. Maybe many old people can enjoy dancing . However , some Japanese people are so shy that probably they don't want to dance .
My grandmother is 89 years old . Although she is very old , she is very cheerful. She often enjoy traveling. According to her , if we want to maintain our health , we need to be active.
I think there are many good ways to keep fit , so each person should find the best way .

an accident

I was on my way to home riding trains, then something was announced. it said "Chuo line had an accident and can't run", so I changed trains and it took more time than usual... I wonder why man jumps into the running trains? It costs a lot and no one is happy :/
I hope tomorrow is going to be fine.

Tango Therapy

Senior have to do exercise to remain themselves younger. It is good for them to call caregivers at home and to be taken care of themselves. However, I think going to a nursing home is better than that because they can meet a lot of people and they can receive some stimulus from other people if they go to a nursing home.
Tango therapy is one of the activities that they can do at nursing homes. I think tango therapy is very good for seniors because they can have confidence that they still can dance, and the dance is foreign. I think almost all seniors have never done. I think it is important for seniors to keep fit. Seniors have to find activity which is suitable for themselves.

Tango Therapy

I think Tango Therapy is good for seniors and I have two reason for that.
First, I think dancing Tango is good opportunity to have seniors experience a different culture. At present, we can almost do what we want to, but I guess the past generation couldn't afford to take lessons and have several accomplishments and had engaged in their work.
Second, Tango Therapy has particular effects that cannot be seen in other exercises. Because I didn't know very much about Tango Therapy, I gathered information on the Internet. According to studies made in Washington University (EUA) , to dance Tango improves balance more than other exercises. This is because in order to make the marvelous steps, a lot of balance is necessary. There is a fact that the rhythms of Tango require a lot of coordination and it is precisely for this reason that enormous benefits are produced in patients with Parkinson's disease. For people with Alzheimer's disease, Tango Therapy is very helpful as it requires coordination and memory to learn the steps. I think, therefore, it is much better to dance Tango than to do a lot of other exercises.

hello

Hi! This is Aya. This is my first time to post to this blog.Although, I heard that IE3 is difficult and gonna be harder than IE2, I hope I can do my best to improve my English skills.

Tango Therapy

I think Tango therapy is a good idea. Many Japanese people think it is strange to dance. However, it reinvigorates both body and mind. In this article, Kiyoko Kinoshita said that she feels much more than just good when she is dancing. Elderly people like her like to dance Tango. This tells that it is meaningful for them to recover. So, I strongly reccomend Tango therapy.

About me :)

Hi, I'm Erika.
It is my first time posting.
I am going to talk about myself.

I was born in Chiba near Tokyo Disney Land.
My birthday is January 30, 1993.
I am 18 years old now.

When I was kindergarten, my parents decided to move into a bigger house.
So, we moved into Yokohama where I live now.
After few years, we had to go to Thailand because of my dad's work.
We stayed in Thailand for five years.
I was at International School. It was really fun. I enjoyed a lot.
Thailand is a warm country. I love the weather there.

Then I moved back to Yokohama.
I went to Tamagawagakuen middle school and high school.

In this IE3 class, I want to improve my English skill.
I will do my best. Thank you :)

Tango therapy

As I read this article, I thought Tango therapy is a really nice idea to stay health in some ways. First, since the tempo of tango is almost the same as walking, serotonin secretion increases when they are dancing. Serotonin is so called a happy hormone. Second, they can enjoy having contact with other people through dancing tango. Basically body contact is important for every person. However, the more people get old, the less they can have chances to be touched by others, so tango is good for such people. They are also able to have social connection while dancing in pairs. Therefore, it can be said that tango therapy is good for both physical and mental health.

Tango Therapy

When I read this article, at first, I thought it was impossible for senior people to do Tango because I imagined that the dance was very active and hard. However, I was surprised at the picture in which senior people were dancing with smiles. Moreover they paired with young men in foreign countries to dance. The remarkable points are that the dance is fresh for them, and that they dance with young men. As we get old, we aren't going to have oppotunities to do new things, so doing it is very stimulative and may stop their second childhood. And they don't have oppotunities to communicate with young men, so it must be happy thing for senior women to talk and dance with young men.
In Japan, the number of senior people has been increasing, so the activities like this should be done more. I think we should do fresh things with them, because stimulus is important to keep our life good.

about tango therapy

I think it is very good idea for old people.
As I said last week, if old women dance with young men, their heart may beat fast. It help their health because their heart send more blood.
I think tango is better than Japanese dance for seniors. I think old people had less oppotunity to know about foreign cultures than us. Tango therapy also help them to touch another country's culture.

Good evening

This is my first posting.  I could finally contribute to this blog.
Because of many troubles, I couldn't contribute easily. I'm very very tired...
I want to go abroad, so I'll study English hard in this class.
See you tomorrow!

about Tango therapy

As many IE3 members wrote on this blog, I also think tango therapy is such a nice idea.
Tango is not only good for their bodies but also good for their mental health because they can become close to the others by dancing with them. Moreover, the article says that tango is more effective than most exercises in improving athletic functionons. I don't like exercise because I have slow reflexes and I don't like being in a sweat, but when it comes to be tango, I'll be able to enjoy it because the dance is not so a hard movement. When I get old, I do want to tang to keep fit, alert.

High school festival

I went to KEIHOKU high school's festival!! This school is famous for basketball club and this school is an all-boys school. I went there with my friend who has been playing basketball for 1o years. We watched basketball game 10 to 15 o'clock!(^^)! Captain who weared uniform number 4 is Japan deligate of u-18. My sister plays basketball so i've ever watched women's game but men's game was completily different!! First, men's height is very high! All of them are more than 180 cm. Second, speed is fast! Compared with girl's game, men's game is likely to have many scores. After the games finished, we took picture with captain and sub captain(^^)v My friends did judgement at Winter Cup so they and we got become with friends. I heard AGU's basketball club is strong so I'd like to watch game someday with them.

Good evening!

This is my first posting. I hadn't received e-mail until now ;( I'm greatly relieved to join this blog...

By the way, I was very surprised that my book report's book is very thick!!! I worry about IE3 class. There are a lot of things to do, but I'll do my best. I want to study hard together, everyone! Please get along with me in the second semester.

About " Tango therapy"

It’s definitely a good thing for senior people to dance. However ,I don’t think there will be a lot Japanese old people try this “Tango therapy”. As we discussed at class, most Japanese senior people are too shy to dance with sexy young men and women. I think group dance is more suitable for them.
Group dance is very popular in China. Senior people from the same community get together every night in the park or square and dance together. Unlike tango, group dance won’t let them feel uncomfortable because they are dancing with many people. Moves of group dance are very simple so that senior people won’t hurt themselves. Whatever they are a good dancer or not they all can enjoy it.
Here is a video about group dance in a Chinese city

Tango therapy

I think Tango therapy is good for seniors.
I've ever been to nursing homes when I was junior high school student (we had to taste the job at that time), they were exercising doing an easy stretch. I thought that was good, but kind of boring.
I've never danced Tango, and so I don't know if it is fun, but I guess it's more fun than a mere stretch.
I have to think about seniors who can't even stand alone. They can't do a step, they can only clap their hands or something. I think we should find a dance which can be danced by a person who can't stand.

Hello

This is Chiho. I've finally gotten the way of posting.
Though I think I would have more things to do than IE2,
I hope I improve my English skill with this IE members.

By the way, did you go to Sagamihara campus festival?
I really enjoyed it! I sold white taiyaki, wearing a school uniform that I borrowed from Erika. My high school has no uniform, so I was really glad. Erika, thank you~!(><)
And then, I heard daichi sing. He was amazing!
I want to go to karaoke with IE members before long.(^^)

article about tango therapy

I think it is a good idea that seniors dance tango. There are some reasons. One of them is because dancing is good for health. Most seniors tend to be in bed and to become physically weak, but if they dance they will keep being cheerful. Another reason is because dancing is also good for mind. According to a TV program and a survey, exercising keeps one's feeling better. Seniors may become strong mentally. In other words, dancing tango makes seniors cheerful physically and mentally, so I think it's a good thing.

About Tango therapy

I think Tango therapy is good for senile people. They usually spend most of their time in bed, and days which remain unchanged continue. It is not good for senile people to live like that. Tango plays an important part in their body and physical health, because Tango is used for exercise and enhancing stimulus. I think stimulus is important for everyone's life. So, this idea is good.

Tango therapy

I think this is a good idea. By doing tango, elderly people can have a new experience that is unfamiliar in Japanese culture. Also, getting moderate exercise will prevent declining their physical ability. However, it is not hard to imagine that there are some people who don’t like dancing. It would be better if they can choose the kind of exercise other than tango, like swimming or walking.

Tango therapy

I think tango therapy is good for the seniors because they become fine and can exercise pleasantly by only dancing with young men. I am sure that the seniors must remember their passion in their youth and they get exited by dancing with young people. Then, their brain become so active and fine. If I have an oppotunity to dance with seniors, I would be willing to dance with them if they become fine.
Hello!!This is Risako. This is my first posting.
I have a lot of things to do this week, including homework, but I'm really sleepy now.
Anyway, every IE activity is hard for me but I want to do my best to progress my English skill.
Good night☆

Hi

Hi, I'm Suzuka. This is my first posting to this blog. I'm happy to study English with the members in IE3. I'm not good at speaking and writing English, but I'll do my best to acquire English skill.

Tango Therapy

I think dancing tango is good for old people because it is important for them to try and enjoy something new to stay active. Also, taking exercise is great for both their brain and thier body. It may help them alleviate their stress. The old lady in the photo of the article looks really happy. Her family must feel happy to see her smile!

About Tango Therapy

I think this idea has both sides of good and bad. Some people are pleased at this idea because it stimulates their feeling by dancing or touching the people of opposite sex. They might become healthy. However, if the people have been married or they are widowers/widows, they may feel bad because they must touch the people who are not their married partner and dance with them sexually. I think this effort should be discussed a lot.

a stay

I'm at Yoko's home now. Mai will also come here.
We will talk about various things.
I like talking with them very much.

About Tango therapy

I think Tango therapy is good for seniors. There are many ways to help senior from senility, for example, origami or climbing a mountain or haiku. However, senior can do these things by themselves, there is no touch each other. I think it is more fun and effective to contct mutually because we can feel we are alive and see daily physical condition. One may find pertner's health difference or poor physical condition. It is also good to communicate with the opposite sex. Setting heart pounding is good thing to live, it's important. By touching each other, seniors more likely to trust each other and tell their problem, as a result they have less stress.
Though there is problem of negative feelings caused by touching body, if seniors feel unpleasant they should tell therapists and do other therapy. Moving body is important to prevent senility or Parkinson's disease and then contacting with each other is also important, I think. From these, this is good idea.

Hello

Hello, this is Kazue. It's my first posting.
Though I'm not good at writing in English very much, I'll try to write as many things as possible and enjoy this activity!

Therapy Of Seniors

Having read the article, I think it's a pretty good idea to help seniors stay heathly by dancing Tango. I've never came up with an idea that dancing Tango would be the good exercise for seniors though.
My mother send puzzles and coloring books to my grand parents to keep them alert, but i just realized that it would only make their brain active. it wouldn't do anything on their body.
Tango would work not only on their mental but also on their body. Just like what is said in the article, seniors get their heart beat faster and may get in good spirits by dancing with young guys.
Compared to Japanese traditional dancing,Tango dancing is more like a passionate dancing and use their bodies a lot. Tango sounds unfamilar to us,but It seems like it's worth trying.

Finally I got in

Hello. This is my first comment. I am enjoying to feed the fish and the flog on this blog. Everyone try!

About dance(Tango) therapy,

I think it's good for seniors to exercise. Then, tango therapy is one of the good ideas to exercise. However, there are some people who are not good at dancing and who don't like dancing. Everyone has his/her own hobby, so there is no need for all seniors to dance.
My grandmother exercises by walking every morning and farming. She leads a happy and healthy life. When I interviewed my grandmother about this article(tango therapy), she ansewed "I don't like dancing, so I want to exercise by leading this life(walking and farming)."
Then, I thought people need to think exercise suitable for everyone by this article.

yesterday,

I went to Omiya(Saitama) to play a game of tennis.
I didn't play a game yesterday, but I supported my team members: doing a ball girl and cheering up my members.
At last, our team won the games with 9 wins and 6 defeats.

Although I was very tired, I had a very good time there.
(I'm suffering from muscular pain now.)

The therapy of seniors

We studied about Tango therapy in Friday's Class. This therapy is good for seniors because they don't have many chances to move their body with someone. Moreover, Tango is easy to remember to do. Other dances will be also good to rejuvenate senile people, of course.

New things are stimulative for not only seniors but also youngs. There are various ways to reinvigorate body and mind. Animal therapy is a typical example. This address write about it.→http://jaha.or.jp/contents/modules/sect5/index.php?id=1

Various countries are starting to introduce Tango therapy. This article will attract the interest of you.→http://jp.reuters.com/article/oddlyEnoughNews/idJPJAPAN-11285620090901

This is first posting to this blog. I am very surprised at being promoted to IE3 because I felt hard to study even in IE2. I'd like to improve my English skill through IE3.

this weekend

It is Friday today, and all of us will not have any classes on this weekend, because we'll have Sagamihara Festival.
I'm looking forward to it! AOVI, the art club which I belong to, will have a refreshment booth.
We'll sell special drinks like "Dororich".
If you come to the festival, let's try our drinks!
(To tell the truth, I've never tasted them, so I don't know how they are like... but I think Sonoko have tried them. If you want to know, please ask her!!)
I'll sell them on Saturday morning, and whole Sunday. I want to meet you at our booth.
I heard Madoka would sell fried potatos. I'll buy them!!
Is there anyone else who will do something at the festival?
