We watched the movie called “Varmints”. It
is animation and I thought this story tells us how important the nature life
is.
The
main characters won’t speak and we read their emotion by their faces and move.
Characters look like fox with straight pointed ears.
One
day, their world, which was filled with beautiful nature, was invaded by new
buildings and technology with new dwellers. All the nature was died off except
a branch which main character snapped off before its tree died off. Many years
have gone, the world become so dirty that many inhabitants get difficult to breeze.
One day, the lights from the branch, which was snapped before withered, became
something like a large jellyfish floating on the sky. They absorbing dwellers
who have plants with them. At the end of the story, large jellyfish protected
main character and a female character who maybe let his heart go out to.
I
think the theme of this story is the importance of nature life. We know that we
can’t live without automobiles, electronic devices and other useful machines.
However, sometimes we forget about it that also nature has qualification to
live, and also we can’t live without them. This story awakening us not to
forget about life which exists nearby.
