My last blog

 Today was my last class for IE3.
Also, this is my last blog.

I spent fun time with you guys for a year.
I want to say countless thanks to everyone.

I felt like my long journey ended, and I am a little sad.
But I hope I meet some of you guys in IE seminar.

Finally, let's do our best in examination, and have a nice spring vacation!!

I really enjoyed spending time with all of you in the IE class.
I`m sad that today was the last day of this class. One regret is that we didn`t take a picture together...

Megumi Tsuboi

Little mermaid.

Yesterday I went to see the musical, Little mermaid which was performed by Shiki Theatre Company. Since I love the songs of Little mermaid, I was happy listening to  the beautiful music.
I really had a great time there. Hope to see more and more musicals.

January to March

Everyone suppose that time goes by so fast especially the first three months of the year. I'm surprised today is already 21st, the latter of this month. In Japan, January is called "it goes", February is "runs away", and March is "leaves". It's difficult to include the nuances of Japanese though....

Many say the time passed more slowly when they were little; I think it's because we have to have much works to do when we become adult.

I guess all of you and I will be very busy next week. I hope your exams and reports both go well :)

Brother's birthday

Today is my brother's birthday. He turned 17. I hope he had a good day. It's a little sad that I can't be with him but the spring holiday is coming soon. Hopefully I can go back to my hometown and see him then. Happy birthday bro!!!

Watch

Today, Megumi and I went to shopping.

And, we found cute watch in different color. We wanted to buy those, but we hesitated because of money.

However we could not give up, and we went to the shop after fifth period, but one of watch was already sold.

I know I can buy it anymore, but I miss that watch.

University visits

This week and next week, I have a plan to visit other universities where my friends go to. I asked them to guide. Since I didn't go school open day so often: maybe only 2 or 3 universities... I  didn't even go AGU  until the entrance exam.

I'm looking forward to it and think about how difference the atmosphere between AGU and others.

IE class

IE class has almost finished. Last thing we do is presentation day after tomorrow. Last year, when I first took the class, I was very surprised how lots of works we had to do in IE. Sometimes I felt hard and thought I couldn’t study other subjects. 

However, I really appreciate now that I could deeply learn English reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Since I belong to the faculty of English and American literature, I should study as this.

I hope I will be able to make use of English skills which I got in IE class.

Tests

Hi guys！
There will be test coming up next week! I haven't start studying for it. I have already failed Spanish in spring semester, so I have to work really hard on this fall semester. However, I can't. I can't make myself study. Yesterday, I thought of start studying, but I started to clean up my room.
Are you guys studying?

Tuesday.

It's a little bit sad that every classes are coming to the end.
At the same time, I really feel that the time I spent as a freshman passed fast.
I want to do my best on the exams and then enjoy my spring holiday.

Snow

I usually go to a station by car driving by myself. But last Tuesday, I had to ask my mother to take me there because the road was frozen by snow. However, I was surprised at seeing Shibuya's road with little snow! I hope my town has also no snow earlier. I think I can't also drive my car tomorrow morning:(

Birthday

Last Monday, I and my friend celebrated our IE classmate, Akane's birthday! Although we were going to hold home party at another friend's house, she got fever. So she couldn't participate in it and we couldn't held it. We hurried for booking a pizza restaurant. It was very nice. And we gave her a birthday present. She looked so happy, so we were also happy!

Snowing

It snowed  very much in Tokyo today.
Everything around my house turned into white.

Snow

Snow is not going to stop!!
I am in Yamanashi prefecture now, and trains and buses are not moving now.
Trains and buses are decided not to move all morning, and there is no plan to move.
I didn't expect that snow fall so much today.
I hope I can go to fifth period.

Movie

　I watched a movie "Gone with the wind" last weekend. It was for my book report in the class of American literature history. I've never watched it. I was surprised at that it was a long movie. I moved a life of a main character, Scarlet. This is a story of the civil war but also love story.  In the movie, we can learn how survive and overcome difficulties. The famous word " Tomorrow is another day" became one of my favorite words. When I get depressed, I want to remind this movie.

One more......

I finished writing one of my book reports. I`m so tried now because I had to face the computer for hours however I have to write one more book report!!!!

Yomiuri Land.

Yesterday, I went to Yomiuri land with my friends. It was so beautiful. We rode so many attractions. I would like to go there again.  Yomiuri land is held till February, So I recommend you to go there if you have chance! 

Report.

Right now I have four reports to do. I have to submit all of them until January 27.
I should finish as fast as possible since I have  to study for the test anyway.
I really hope spring vacation will come soon.

Hoodie

My father gave me his hoodie this morning.
He bought it for himself, but it was too small to him.
The design of the hoodie is very simple, only Adidas logo,and I really liked it.
I am looking forward to wearing it.

Spring vacation

What are you guys going to do in your spring vacation ？ Are you going somewhere?
Well, I'm not!!!
I want to go on a trip in my vacation like overseas but I have to spend half of my holidays on club activity. I enjoy my club very much but it is just too long!!!

Today I went to Odaiba with my friend.
The view was beautiful since it was at night when we arrived there.
I`m happy that I don`t have school tomorrow which means I don`t have to wake up early.

Test

We have test from January 26th to February 2nd. However I only have two tests on Wednesday. The reason is that most of the class I attend has no test but we have to write a report. It is better that tests but I am not used to writing reports, so I should start writing it from today. I am not sure if I can get grades but I will do my best. After the test week, I have plans to play so, I will work really hard. I want to ask you how many tests do you have.

Mirage

Summary
  This story is about environment problem of food crisis and water shortage. The robot is taken as human being and it is showing that what will happen if we didn't pay attention of what's happening on earth right now.

Message
 This story is trying to tell as to cooperate with others and pay attention to what is happening in the world. It is telling that things are important and we shouldn't waste it.

USJ

On March 8th, I'm going to USJ by bus. It is said that it will take about 8 hours. We start from Tokyo at 23 o'clock at night on the 8th and it arrives at 8:00 at the morning on  the 9th. On the first day, we will enjoy in USJ and on the second day, we are going to travel around Osaka. I've been to Kyoto once but I've never been to Osaka so I am really excited. However, I don't know anything about it so I hope someone could tell me the good places in Osaka. As my plan, I will go to see Osaka Castle and after that, eat Okonomiyaki or something. I will tell you more about it after March 8th!

CD

     Today, I rented a CD from SHIBUYA TSUTAYA and added songs to my iPhone and WALKMAN. The CD is "Hajimari" . It is the latest single of BLUE ENCOUNT and today was the release day. Although I know the band, I don't know their songs well. But I watched music video of the song, I was very moved by the lyrics and melody .
     By the way, I have rented many CDs since I made T-POINT card. So the number of songs in my  WALKMAN  increased greatly. But since I have many albums to add to my music player, I will rent them next time.

In Shizuoka

On December 28^th, I went back to my hometown, Shizuoka. I really enjoyed myself there. I have 3 reasons to this. First is because I met my cats whose names are Tara and Ikura. They are twins are cute. However at the last day in Shizuoka, Tara and Ikura had a big fight and Ikura got injured. I don't know what happened after that but they are usually very friendly so I think everything is ok.

The next reason is because I finally met my sister's baby. He is a baby boy and his name is Yu. He was born on December 1st. I've never seen a baby so small like him so I was screaming in my heart " Kawaiii!!!!".

The last reason is shopping. My mother bought me lots of things. Shoes, clothes, purse, jacket...and so on. Everything became my favorite and I wear my new shoes everyday for school.

I really had a nice time in Shizuoka and I really want to go back there again. Shizuoka is very warm and people there are really friendly. If you've never been to Shziuoka, I recommend you to.

2015 December

I’ll tell you what I did on December. At 23^rd, I went to Round 1 with my friends. I’ve only went there once, so I really excited it. We played tennis, badminton, batting, ping pong, darts, bowling and so on. After we went Round 1 we went to the restuarant to eat meat. It was very delicious after we played sports..

Next I’m going to talk about what I did on Christmas. I used to go outside with my family to eat dinner but this year, I had spend my time with my boyfriend at home. We made dinner together, watch movies and we gave presents to each other. I gave my boyfriend, purse and he gave me pajamas. It was very pretty so I wear it every day.

My birthday was on 30th, so he made a suprise that after I came back from work, he was waiting in my house making dinner!! The food was really awesome! Everything was filled with my favorites and for a present, he gave me a necklase. It was the best birthday I've ever had!

Logorama

Summary

              The story was in the modern L.A. Towns were filled with lots of Logos and the climax was that Donald killed lot of people and the police tried to stop him. However, everything was destroyed by the earthquake.

Message

              I think this story wants to tell us 2 things. First is that we are filled with information. There were lots of logos in the city and at the end everything got destroyed by the earthquake. I think that is because human couldn’t take responsible of the information and couldn’t take care of it. The second thing is that we are destroying too much nature. If we keep on making logos, which means building company or cutting down trees to make something, the world is going to be destroyed.

Cheese cake

Today, I went to Harajuku to eat delicious cheese cake with my friend.
This cheese cake was 750 yen, so it was a little expensive.
However, it was so delicious!! You should try this!!

Volunteer

Last Monday, I attended cleaning volunteer in Shibuya with my friend. There were so many garbages.   I was surprised with the amount of disposed cigarettes on the road. It was good experience for me.

Coming age ceremony.

Two days ago, I've attended coming age ceremony, This year, I would become 20. Since my birthday is on February I am not 20 yet.
I want to thank all of my family or friends, teachers, or everyone I know!

Report

Now, I am writing the book report for American literal history class.
I was planning to finish writing this report until nine o'clock, but I watched TV drama.
So I didn't finish yet. I want to finish it by 1 am.

David Bowie

He passed away yesterday. I am sad because I like his music. He is the legend. Rest in peace David Bowie.

My Sister's Birthday

Last Saturday was my sister's birthday. She became 11 years old this year. Because she likes "Disney tsumutsumu," I gave her its dolls. She seemed so happy. We are going to go Disney Land, so I'm looking forward to it!

Golden Globe Awards

I am very interested in Golde Globe Awards because it is said that Golden Globe reflect the result of Academy Award.
Today, I watched GGA all day on TV.
In this year, Leonardo DiCaprio won Golden Globe for Best Actor.
I supported Eddie Redmayne, so I was a little sad.
However, I wish Dicaprio won Academy Award because he has never won Academy Award.

Sushi.

One of my favorite foods is Sushi.
Today I went out with my family to go to the Sushi restaurant where I like.
 Since the taste was so good that I could not stop eating.
Right now I`m very full.

Job after holidays

I went to the job for the first time this year today. I didn't want to go as I just wanted to stay at home and be lazy. Maybe I'm still missing holidays. Although I didn't feel like working, I actually enjoyed the job. It was nice to see students after 2 weeks. They are sometimes cheeky but I still love them. It was also good to talk to the company who'll be a teacher after graduate. He is 2 years older than me and his word made me think I should study harder in order to be a teacher. I was thinking to be back hometown right after school finishes in Februrary, but I changed my mind to do some shift so that I can see my students more, interact with people from different university and earn money.

School has started.

School has started on this Tuesday. However, I have to go back home because I've got coming-of-age celebration. It is  very tiring to go back my home town again. But I am excited to see everyone!

Test is coming

The school started again from this week and we have many tests coming up. This is the last test to take in first grade, so I will try my best to get many credits. After the test we have long break, so for now, I will work hard to show my improvement of learning in Aoyama Gakuin.

Ekiden ceremony

I went to Ekiden ceremony which reported that Ekiden team won Hakone yesterday.
My second period finished very earlier, so I waited them for an hour.
I was very excited to see Ekiden team member in front of me, not TV.
I hope Ekiden team wins next Hakone too.

Test.

Today I had two tests which made me do tried however, tomorrow I have educational psychology test at first period. There are so many things I have to remember, I think I just have to stay up late and prepare for the test. I`m already a little bit sleepy but I will do my best.

Emerald green

I like emerald green. I think it is the most beautiful color. Recently, I want a sweater, but I can't find good color one. This is because emerald green may not be thought as men's color. It's a pity that there are few emerald green clothes, shoes or other things for men.

Happy New Year!
I'm sorry for being late for sending New Year's greetings. The biginning of 2016 was very busy. I had a part-time job on January 2nd and 3rd. In addition to this, I had three tests and one report today. So I was busy preparing for them. But now, I am releved because I finished these tasks.

Sale

I bought new boots in New Year's sale. Although the original cost of it was about 10,000 yen, I bought it for about 6,000 yen by sale! Because I had been interested in it since last November, I am very happy for getting it! Did you buy anything in New Year's sale?

Test

I finished Reading and Spanish test today.
Reading's teacher and Spanish's teacher are very dedicated teachers, so I studied very hard.
When I took these tests, I was very nervous.
However I could finish these tests with ease. So I thought my effort would never betray me.
Many big tests are coming in the end of January, but I want to do my best for next spring vacation.

Getting up early

I'm not good at getting up early. However, I  have to do it because winter vacation finished:( I can't wait for starting spring vacation!

School starts

The winter holiday has ended and school started. In the holiday, I went back to my hometown. I got Hakodate on Christmas eve and there was no snow. It was pity that we didn't have white Christmas. I felt winter this year was warmer than usual.
What I enjoyed the most was seeing my brothers and chatted them a lot. The youngest brother became taller than me. I was also happy to see my mum. Her dish was very nice.
I had dinner with old friend. She and I have been friends since we were nine, and her house is in front of my house. I hope I can see her in February or March again.
The holiday was a bit too short but I was able to relax. I already look forward to the next holiday.

Christmas Present

This christmas, I bought three presents for my mother, grandpa and grandma. The reason why I decided to buy them is because I have never bought any presents with the money I rase. I bought two wallets for my grandparents and I bought a necklace for my mother. Since I was a hight school student, my mother has wanted necklace. My mother seemed so happy. My grandpa's birthday is December 27. My grandma's birthday is January 1. So, these presents were birthday presents too.

Christmas Party

December 25, my friends and I holded Christmas Party. We made dinner and christmas cakes. I made　Insalata Caprese firstly. I used cheese made from milk of a water buffalo. This cheese is used at my work place. I love this cheese. Secodly, I made macha moosse. I learned this recipe from a chef of my work place. It was a first time for me to made it. Although I worried about the taste, all of my friends said to me it was delicious. I was so happy to hear that.


Lastly, we made tow christmas cakes. Left one is made by me. Right one is made by boys. I couldn't stop laughing when I see the cake.

Next month

University has a very long vacation, especially in spring. In my case, February 2^nd to the early part of April: I’ll have more than 2 months for vacation! I have been making some plans to use my free time effectively, but before I can enjoy it, I must overcome many exams this month. Since I didn’t study during winter vacation, (I only read one book for my homework) I may have difficult time for several weeks from today!

winter break

I went to Bali from 31st to 5th with my family. We had Happy New Year party with fireworks and musics. I was able to have a relaxed time sleeping at the pool side and beach.

Old friends

Last week, I held a home party with my friends at my house. We were the same classic ballet class in elementary and junior high school days. So we have known each other for 12 years! We are different from living cities and grades. But it doesn't matter at all. Although it was the first time in the two years to meet all four people, we had a great time as ever. We'll be best friends forever!

Movie

During my stay in Mie, I went to see Star Wars with my friend.
I had not seen the Star Wars series before I watched the newest version, but I really enjoyed watching it. I liked the character Ray, the main character in the stroy. She is so brave woman and I especially enjoyed the scene where she fights.
It was very exciting and I really liked the film.  I want to look back to the first version of the film and watch all the series.

Meeting my friend

During winter holiday, I went back to my hometown in Mie. While I stayed in Mie, I met my friend from high school. I had not seen her since summer break, so I was happy to see her. We went to  Nagashima Spa Land and rode many attractions there. One of my best ride was a roller coaster called Steel Dragon. It is 97meters high at the highest point. It's very thrilling, but I really like this roller coaster. We also got to ride new roller coaster called Acrobat. We had to give up this ride the last time we visited because the waiting time was so long, but this time, we were able to ride it without waiting so long. I really enjoyed all the ride and I also got to talk alot with my friend.
 I had so much fun!!

Happy new year!

How was your winter holiday?
I spent the days very reaxing. I made osechi with my mom on silvester. The new year's day I had dinner with my grand parents and cousins. It was my dad's side family. We ate Sukiyaki. All together we were 9 people. It is what we do every year. But one difference was my brother wasn't here. He works in Osaka and lives there with his wife. His wife works at a cram school and the cram school has only a day off. It was too hard for them to come to Tokyo and go back to Osaka in a day. So they couldn't have Sukiyaki with us.
On the 2nd we went to my mother's parents house. My grandma has already past away so my grandpa looked very happy that many people surrounding him.We were 9 people again on that day. We ate lunch together. We had many things to talk and the time went so fast. It was a great time.
 And Congratulations to Aogaku at the Hakone Ekiden!!!!

2016 starts

Did you have a good winter holiday?
I really enjoyed it! I had a trip to abroad, year-end party, New Year's party, and so on.
The biggest news all we know is the AGU's championship of Hakone Ekiden!
When I heard that news, I was very excited indeed. It was also moving.
This year, 2016, I make up my mind not to waste time and be active!

New Year's Day

I was with my best friend on New Year's Day. It was the first time for me to straining the year with friends. We watched TV all the night. At the next day, we went to a near temple for hatsumode. We go there every year, so I wish we do forever!

Homework

I was not able to do any homeworks in this winter vacation.
I ate delicious food a lot, then slept a lot. I was like a baby.
I am doing my homework right now, and I don't know when I can sleep.
I want to try my best.

School.

I cannot believe that today is the final of the winter vacation!
I enjoyed meeting my friends and spending time with my family.

Trip to Toba in Mie

Yesterday I went to Toba with my family.
We went out to the sea and rode boat there. Since it was nice weather, the ocean view was very beautiful. After riding a boat, we went to Ise Jingu. We ate Ise udon at Okage Yokocho. It was my first time to eat Ise Udon and it was very delicious.
I had great time with my family!

Right now I`m writing my blog while watching Hakone Ekiden.
I hope all of the members of Aogaku team will do their best and be able to finish Hakone Ekiden with a big smile.

Kochi's traditional food.

Today, I had a big party with my family, cousin, and other people we know.  We held that party every year, and it is always so much fun! I really like see everyone's happy face in new year. Also, I could get to eat great Kochi's traditional food. It is called "Sawachi dish." Well, it is the dish which has so many kinds of foods on a dish. I forgotten to take photos of them, but I took Sushi and fish. I really like foods in Kochi.

Happy New Year

I spent new year's eve with my family except my sister as she had to go to a work. On that day, I cleaned my room. My room was mess but it is tidied up now. We watched TV and ate a lot at that night. And today, I went to shopping with my sister. There were many people and all of the shops are crowed. But she bought me some clothes for my birthday present so I am very happy.
Then I remembered that I have four exams on this week. I don't want to study now but I have to do it. I hope you have a great winter vacation.

What are you guys doing？ Have you gone somewhere?

I didn't go anywhere this year.

Every year, my family and grand father and mother stay at hotel in Tokyo and spend 2 or 3 days there.

However, we didn't have that this year. I don't know why.

So, this year I was in my home all day watching tv and reading books. 

I think spending time like this in new year isn't that bad！

Hakone Ekiden

AGU won Hakone Ekiden completely today!!
I was absorbed to watching it.
I am looking forward to watching it tomorrow again.
My high school: Yamanashi Gakuin University got 4th place.
I hope AGU get first place, and YGU get second place tomorrow.
