Obaachan's Garden

I watched the film partly to the end yesterday. The Obaachan was forced to leave Japan, because her son died when she gave birth to him. In that age of Japan, women's most important work was to give birth to son. So, after her son died, she could no longer be married with her husband. She was forced to go to Canada, for picture bride, because it was the only way to leave Japan legally.
When she left, She had two daughters besides husband. However she never talked about them in Canada. Even her family didn't know. So, when one of her daughter found out the secret, and finally could let the mother and one of two daughter left in Japan before the Obaachan dies.
I don't know why, but I thought this film has tone of creepiness. I was irritated when the Obaachan speaks because her voice was really hard to be heard. Anyways, at the end of the film, the scene where Obaachan and her daughter meets for the first time in 75 years, was moving.
