The Mantis Parable


1. Story

       The caterpillar was caught and put in the jar. One day, the mantis came. The caterpillar asked him to help her, but he could not. Then he was also caught and put in another jar. After a while, the beautiful butterfly came with fireflies. They fly around the jar’s cap and open it.

2. Problem

       The problem is that the mantis was caught and put in the jar.

3. Theme

       Its message resemble the message of Tsuru no Ongaeshi, a Japanese old story. Its English title may be The Crane Lady. It tells us importance of being kind.
