octapodi and the mermaid

In octapodi there were a purple octopus and a orange octopus which loves each other. But a man trys to capture one. Then the other octopus rescues her. In the end a bird comes and captures the orange octopus. I think if this story continues something will get in the way of their love and they could never settle in. In the mermaid the main character is a boy that has wavy hair and loves to imagine. The boy imagines a mermaid from a fish in a puddle and brings it home but his family doesn't believe him. In this country imagination was forbidden so he was taken to jail. The guards tortures him to make him forget about it. Although he was trying not to forget, eventually he starts to forget. When he started to forget the guards took him to the puddle where everything started. But the boy remembered the mermaid and swam together in the boys imaginary world. I think in this story Tezuka Osamu wanted to say that even everyone forbids you you should keep on doing it and keep on trying.
