octapodi&mermaid

I just remembered that I should write about two movies. First about octapodi, it was interesting and kind of easy to understand. Two octopus, male and female, had great difficulty in dating because of any disturbance like a human or bird. Female octopus was in danger of death, but the male octopus managed to save her. Then, a bird appear suddenly and took the male one. I think what happen next is that they go really comfortable place to live with the bird, and they will lead happy lives together. Next, about mermaid, it was difficult to understand what was going on in the movie because maybe its theme was the difficulty of having own opinion about whatever. A boy in the movie seemed to be sad other than the time when he was playing with mermaid. He was afflicted by the government to be tortured and forced to forget mermaid, but he can't. Finally he tried committing suicide, but then he saw the mermaid again and looked happy at a first sight. However, Tezuka might wanted modern people to realize people living under the circumstance of strict regulation couldn't have rights to express their feeling freely. We take it for granted, but it isn't.
