Binta and the Graet Idea

This movie is great!  It teach me life of African poor people and importance of education.  I realized I was unusual and felt happy to have an high-level education.  I want to be fluent in English but there many people who cannot read or write even their own language like Soda.

Soda is Binta's cousin. Her father is sexist so he wouldn't let her go to school but the village school children performed a play to tell him how important education is and finally he allowed Soda to have education.  This scene shows significance of cooperation; we can change someone's wrong mind if we cooperate.

Binta's father has a Great Idea.that was adopting a tubab (white child) and teach the child disposition of the community such as sharing and cohesion.  Maybe Binta's father thinks his community is better than tubab's one.  It is opposite to our idea.  Really Great Idea!
