What the characters want-the boy wants to believe in a mermaid, and the government wants to restrict his imagination
Conflicts-the boy wants imagine a mermaid, but the country does not allow it.
Ending-the government uses all kinds of methods to delete the boy's imagination of the mermaid. As a result, the boy can no longer see the mermaid. Horrified, he goes to the ocean with the fish, and is able to see the mermaid again. He wanders into the ocean and becomes a mermaid as well.
What happens next-I think the boy will live happily ever after with the mermaid. The other people will just think that the boy wandered into the sea and died, but I think the boy will live happily ever after in his imagination.
