What do you think?

As some of my classmates already know, I studied at City College of San Francisco (CCSF) about 25 years ago, and now I study here at Aoyama Gakuin University, so in this sense I know what campus life both in the United States and Japan is like.  I realized many differences and today I want to tell you one of them.

In the U.S., almost all the students in CCSF was sitting on the corridor outside classrooms, leaning against walls while they were waiting for the classrooms to be vacant.  Some of them read textbooks and wrote something in their notebooks, and others talked with classmates while they were sitting on the corridor.

On the other hand, in Japan, I've never seen students sitting on the corridor.  They are standing and look very polite.

However, as far as I'm concerned, I want to sit on the corridor and relax myself.  Besides, sitting for too long is really exhausting, especially when I have many classes to attend.  I wonder if other students feel in the same way as me.  Do you want to sit on the corridor while you were waiting for the class?  What do you think?
