Gempatsu-kun and nuclear boy

On our listening class we watched short videos about nuclear power plant. Both has exactly the same content and idea. However Japanese version seemed more easy to understand because the animation was simpler and idea of describing exposed radiation as "poo" was very familiar expression for Japanese kids. Compared to that, translated version was rather hard to hear since it was automated voice. Overall the video were criticized a lot but I thought it was not a big deal as it was mainly made for children, it didn't have to be complicated. However that doesn't mean they can share a false information, for example they said the stink will disappear within a week but radiation will remain for long time and still radiation concentration is high in Fukushima.
