Oktopodi

This story takes place at a small town in Greece? or somewhere similar to that. There are 2 octopuses, a orange male and a pink female octopus. They are in love. Yet, they are broken apart from each other due to a man(I'll call him "X" for now). So, the orange octopus chases X to save his love.
The storys climax pretty much starts within the first few seconds and I think the 2 octopuses just simply stand for lovers, and X represents how terrible fate can be to them. Yet I found it touching that they managed to get though it, but then a sea gull appears and swept away the orange octopus. That I think is the irony here.
Well, in this story I felt that the theme is about how people would do anything for love.
If this story were to continue, I would suppose that the story would keep going in circles and they would keep getting separated.
