Tsunami

After reading the story on Tsunami, it got me to think about how important it is to listen to people who are older than you and has experienced more. I have heard that in one town where the tsunami came, they were helped by a big wall near the coast that their ancestor made. Although at that time, they thought it was too tall, as a result it helped alot of the people in the town. In this story, I was amazed on how Hamaguchi Gohei took peoples lives as first priority. I wouldnt have been able to act that way. Tsunami has ended up as a disaster but I think that we should learn alot from this experience by re-establishing this country and pass down the knowledge to the next generation.
