Stanley Pickle

Setting:
on a sunny day, autumun, Europe
Stanley's house, the forest

Conflict:
Stanley versus himself

Climax:
The boy thrown away his fake mother & father, and desided to get outside and live by himself.

Irony:
He made a windup bird in the same way of his parents in order to make the girl who loved the bird happy. However, as soon as she looked at the bird, she ran away with fear.

Symbol:
his house...something we cannot part with
clockwork toys...memories we cannot forget
forest...freedom, future, hope

Theme:
We can find our true happiness only in the future.

Characters:
20-year-old boy who is alone and has never goes outside
his mother & father which are clockwork
a girl who lives in the forest and loves birds
a bird

20-year-old boy had lived with windup toys which look like his parents. By making them come back as robots, he tried to make up for his loneliness.
