Stanley Pickle


 
Setting: Countryside in a forest not so long ago

 

Conflict: Stanly is a boy who doesn’t go out from his house. He deals with death by repairing with his ability of mechanism. He, however, come to notice that repairing shouldn’t be done.

 

Climax: Although he had been living with mechanical father and mother because he was shat-in, a girl changed his mind. Finally, he decided to go out from his house.

 

Symbols: Screws indicate the real loneliness of Stanley

 

Irony: Stanley thinks he can make dead creatures alive and those he fixed make him fees happy, but actually, those he repaired make him alone.

 

Theme: Nobody can control life and death. People have to face to the death and they  
             can spend a real bound life.
