Gempatsu-kun and nuclear boy

The contents of the two were the same, but I felt that the English one was more serious. Maybe it was the background music and gempatsu-kun's lines that made the Japanese one more comical.

Since the word "poo" is regularly used among children, this would be a good source to let them know and feel a little closer to the big issue. At first, I thought it was inappropriate to use such words for this serious nuclear problem, but now I think these have a positive influence. I thought it is important to understand the part where the narrator said we have to appreciate doctors who are treating gempatsu-kun though it has risks.

I was also surprised that this video was released in only 4 days after the earthquake came, and that it was soon translated in English too.
