I am reading "All Quiet On The Western Front" written by Erich Maria Remarque.
This is a story about a young German man who is sent off to fight on the German side in WW1.
The books tells us of horrible and haunting experiences of young soldiers during the war, and how war can change the way people think and behave even after the conflict itself is over.
I have yet to finish reading this book, but I have a feeling that this will be one of the best books that I will read in a while.

The Call of The Wild
Right now I have read the beginning of the book trying to figure out the Literary terms for it. I'll write about some I found.
In the beginning of the story, the scene is set in California. However, the scene changes as the main character (a dog named Buck) is sent to Canada, and then, eventually, to Alaska. I'm assuming that the time is around the nineteenth century, as that is when gold mining in Alaska started.
The point of view is omniscient, as the thoughts of Buck are shown.
As far as I have read, Buck is a happy pet of a wealthy owner, but is kidnapped and sold to gold miners who want dogs to use for sledding. In the cold and dangerous new world, Buck discovers a new self, which is vicious, ferocious and strong.

Interstellar
There is one thing I really wanted to write about on this blog.
It's about a movie called Interstellar directed by Christopher Nolan also famous for Batman and Inception.
It was recently out as a DVD and I didn't really want to watch it at that time because the trailer seemed so boring.
However, as you know we should never judge a book by its cover and its the same for movies.
This movie is about a team of astronauts who are on a mission to find a planet where human can live
because crop bright made it difficulty to provide enough to survive on the earth in the future.
So the astronauts, starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway travel through a wormhole and talk
about gravity or explore the three- and five-dimensional space. It sounds confusing but the good thing
about this movie is that it still entertains and you can enjoy it. I don`t know if I understood this movie right, but at the end
I was very moved. The story is also about a strong bong between father and daughter and how love connects
through all the dimensions that exist.
Sorry for my bad writing but I hope you got a little idea about the movie. I really recommend watching it!
Here is the trailer. The movie is waaaaaay better than the trailer!

My book
I've finished reading my book for the book report and I must say that I definitely need to read it again because I want to gain better and deeper understanding about the characters and the story.
The book is called Of Mice and Men and is written by John Steinbeck.
The story of the book is very said. It is about two friends George and Lennie. Lennie is a tall and strong man but he is a little bit slow. He loves animals and always wants to pet them if he finds some.
George cares for Lennie and always puts things straight when Lennie does some trouble. They work on a new ranch to save money because both dream of having an own ranch one day. At the new ranch they find work and different kind of people.
Unfortunately a bad accident happens there and .....the story continues but I don`t want to reveal too much of it ;)
There are also movies based on this story. I've already watched the newer version of it a few years ago but I am trying to find some time to watch it again so I can write something about it in the book report.
Another thing I'd like to mention is that I borrowed my book from the University's library.
It's an older one and looks so antique and nice!
That's one thing I like about reading books. You can hold them in your hands and they have their characteristics. They look, feel and smell different. (I sound like a freak LOL)
E-books are for sure convenient but this feeling when you holding an old book
in your hands is replaceable!

Drums
A very strange thought came to me just now as I lay on my bed with my eyes closed. They always say that music, like language, is fundamentally a bunch of sequences of sound put together. And so, I thought "What if we communicated using drums?"
I know it sounds a bit silly. Laugh all you want. Yet, I can sort of imagine a fictional world where drumsets are lecterns from which we drum out incredible speeches and where languages each have their own specific musical tastes to them. Such is the power of music, I guess.

Awful day
Since last thursday, ESS started holding explanatory meeting toword freshmen about English discussion. They explained how it goes and we are going to discuss Active euthanasia in english. It seems difficult bit it must be good experience so I'm looking forword to it. On friday, after we took their explanation, we went eat out and had fun. Since I lived near Shibuya, about 10 people came stayed at my house. It was really crowded and I couldn't sleep because some of them sang loudly even I had to work afterwords. I made them go home at five a.m. and sleep for a while and went work for ten hours. One good thing of that day was that the chef in my restaurant served me foie gras(goose liver)'s rizotto(rice sorked in a soup). I won't invite this many people.

early morning
Today, I woke up at 4A.M. I didn't expect to see this on my clock and I tried to go to sleep again but I couldn't, so I decided to work on my assignments now. I'll just talk about a book I chose for our book report which is "Flowers for Algernon". It's about a 32-year-old man named Charlie who has an extremely low IQ. Because of his extremely low IQ, he is going to be used for an experiment. It is an experiment if it is possible to make dumb people smart. Charlie takes tests with a mouse named Algernon. The book is organized by Charlie's progress reports which he is going to write almost everyday. At first, his handwriting is awful. Later on, after Charlie takes the surgery, we gradually notice that Charlie has improved his spelling skills. He starts to understand negative things in the world. It makes him very sorrowful. I wonder how it goes on and how he overcomes those problems. I can't wait to read through the rest of the pages.

the hair and nails.
I just got back from the welcom party I talked about last night. it turned out my hair is ok. i also asked about my nails (I'm wearing gray and sparkles), and they were ok too! I can't believe they are acceptable... but for me, it's a good thing that I don't need to hide them or anything.
I haven't even started writing the essay for the writing class, so I'm going to work on it tonight! I hope I don't need to be an all nighter... hope I can get some sleep tonight.
niku fes
On the 6th of this month I went to the Niku Fes which was held in komazawakouen with the members of the ESS. There were 3 sophomores 2 juniors and 6 freshmen including Ryosuke and myself. We ate almost too much meat but the whole experience was amazing. If I had the chance to go to this festival again i would definitely go.
Golden week
It's a little late but I will talk about my golden week. First day I went to lalaport in fujimi with my best friend Ayano. It was such a sunny day! We went shopping, had lunch at komeda, and took lots of selfies like always. It was a fun day! Thank you Ayano! My second day of golden week I went back home to Nagano to see my family. It was my brothers birthday recently so we had a surprise birthday celebration for him. My brother lives in Yamanashi prefecture. So we waited for his arrival in the living room with the lights off and had our fire crackers ready. When he came in the house we turned the lights on and cracked our fire crackers! Happy birthday!
The next day we went to sushi and the movies. We watched the new fast and furious movie! It was awesome! People who like cars and action is definitely the movie to watch! The next day I went to a free market, probably better known as yard sale, with my mother and sister. I helped out my mother with setting up and selling clothes. However, I took an early bus home because it was golden week and very crowded. So my golden week was all together about two and a half days. Not a week at all ha! And there were golden moments but as of now I need to finish my home work assignments. So busy! However many of maybe be in the same situation am I right?
Anyways I hope all of you enjoyed your golden week! Thank you!

The note book
The book I am currently reading for the book report is called "The Notebook." This is written by Nicholas Sparks. The book is about two teenagers falling in love with each other. The main characters name are Noah and Allie. Compared to Allie, Noah is more from a family that is not wealthy and Allie is very rich.
At one summer they met each other and fell in love. But it was only summer that they spent there time together. Noah taught Allie everything she has not done before with the nature. And he has always read poetry to her. The reason why Noah likes poetry is because of the influence from his father. His father has always taught him to read the poetry out loud every day. And from this reading a poetry turned into his every day life.
After summer Allie has suddenly left to a different town. Noah who was in to her had gone crazy. And after a long period of time, Allie has decided to get married. She felt guilty not letting Noah know this so she decided to drive back to the two where they has so many memories. And they met. Allie knew that deep inside her she still loved him and it was obvious that Noah still loved her the way he did thats summer. She let him know that she was engaged and Noah was surprised but told her congratulation. They walked together and decided to be good friends, so they planned to have dinner together that night at her house...

golden week
On the last day of golden week I met up with my friend from High School. We met a Kichijyouji and went on a picnic. At first we were planning to go to a cooking lesson and then head to the park but we failed to book the lesson so we ended up buying all the food at the supermarket. We bought few drink, fries, sandwich, potato chips and chocolate.
In the beginning we were going to go to the inogashira park that is more closer to mitaka so we headed there and walked for about half an hour but the place we wanted to go was during there construction so we headed back to the inogashira near kichijyouji. It was a great weather but it was very hot to walk for a long time.
I enjoyed seeing my friend from High School because she was so easy to be with. And she knew everything about me so the silent wasn't awkward at all. And I'm glad that it was sunny.

For the club activity
For the Aogaku Hiking club, I went to Jimbocho with our seniors to buy the equipment for mountaineering. We bought many things such as mattress, tank, hiking shoes, tableware, and rain gear. It costs me a lot of money, but I am looking forward for mountaineering in this club.
tomorrow im going to the welcome party of my part time job. I'm teaching at a cram school from next week, but I bleached my hair... they said any color's ok unless it's crazy colors like blond ( I actually don't understand why blond is a crazy color. I think if blond is crazy brown is crazy too). I don't think my hiar's blond, it's a little brighter to say it's brown... I'm a little worried about what they're going to say... but other than that, I'm really looking forward to meeting other teachers and the manager. I used to be a student at that cram school, so I know most of them and I'm excited to see them again!
Orchestra!
Today I went to my first orchestra tutti practice!
I finally found out what my part sounds like with the rest of the orchestra.
I also found out that the tempo is ridiculously fast and that I can't keep up with the rest of the violin players. Well, actually, I knew that the tempo would be fast, but today, it fell upon me as reality.
I must practice very very very very hard!!!
Its only a week before we perform in front of an audience...
Oh dear, I wish I had another month to practice.
I will do my best!

Lost City on the Internet
Some time near the end of April 2009, Yahoo! gave the decision to demolish one of the most significant settlements on the Internet - GeoCities - ten years after it was bought. Now, all that remains is a Japanese subsidiary and nearly complete archives of it.
It was probably the greatest online data preservation project to have ever been executed - and that's not just my opinion. At least 38 million accounts were on GeoCities by the time it went down, a lot of them abandoned as a result of Yahoo!'s acquisition; they forced users to flee because they pressed down new terms and conditions on the site.
Anyway, after the announcement of GeoCities' closure, countless online archival groups went into action. The Internet Archive (really useful) announced a "deep crawl" of the pages, while Archive Team used their signature juggernaut of connected virtual machines in order to harvest them. By the time GeoCities shut down, on October 27th of the same year, some archivers managed to amass just under 1 terabyte (1024 gigabytes) of uncompressed data - simply put, a TON of it.
(Here's a video of someone crawling and preserving GeoCities pages)

Of course, archives aren't made just for them to sit in some old dusty shelf. GeoCities now lives on in several web mirrors (virtual copies), raw archives, and a few other sites which celebrate it. Take the One Terabyte of Kilobyte Age Photo Op, for example. Every day, until some time in 2027, the Photo Op will continue posting screenshots of GeoCities websites.
Cinderella
I went to theatre last night with my friend to watch Cinderella.
All what I can say is that was the greatest movie I ever watched!!!
Maybe, I am exaggerating about it, but trust me, if any of you who haven't seen yet, you really should go and watch it.
I even cried at some of the scene...
Cinderella made my day great!
And today,
Work work work.
Too exhaused...
So I'll go to bed ealier
Hope you all are doing good and have a nice weekend!
Good night and sleep tight everyone!
club activity
Today, I joined club activity with my friend and enjoyed barbecue. Weather report said it would rain today, so I worried that, but weather was all right. I was glad to meet new friends.
Wednesday
On Wednesday, I went to my friend's house. We used a pizza-delivery service and enjoyed it very much. We didn't do other special things, but we had a good time talking about each other's college life. What made me quite relieved was that they haven't changed so much since I saw them last. I want to meet them again in the near future.
lazy morning
I'm very lazy to get up on Saturday morning. I like to be off from school but I don't like it when I have nothing to do. It'll be fun if I had playdate plans, but it doesn't always happen. I wish I had so many friends so that they'll invite me every weekend to hang out with me. However, that won't actually happen. I'll just work on my homework and go to school for club activity.

Blogging about Random Stuff
Tonight I'll write about my family.
My family moved into my grandmother's house this April. My grandmother owns two dogs and one cat, and we also have a dog, which makes us have a total of three dogs and a cat. You can imagine the chaos going on everyday.
This evening after dinner my younger brother and I played card games with my father, grandmother and little brother. I think my grandmother is most lively when she's with my younger brother. He keeps her very busy and well occupied.
A few weeks ago, they quarreled about who was going to chop the onions. My brother ran around the house with the onion while my grandmother sat on a chair with the cutting board, waiting for him to return with the onion. The whole thing was very comical.
By the way, (I hope you don't mind asking on my blog post but) does anyone know what the topic is for the media discussion? Is it still Human Relationships?

Super-Ultra Crowded Train
I'm in the Tokaido Line right now, and it's not just crowded. It' kind of like "English-lacks-the-right-words-to-explain-how-crowded-this-train-is" crowded. God I hate the morning train.....
The world through a keyhole
This Wednesday, someone told me that he's never taken a step outside of this country, and some of what he knows about the outside world (especially the United States) is based on the movies that they release. It really surprised me to hear that, being a person whose time outside the country exceeds the time I spent within.
This reminded me of - not pejoratively, though - North Korea. One of the most reclusive countries in the world - thus its nickname the Hermit Kingdom - North Korea has a very controlled economy and few supply lines.
Yet, I've heard stories of pirated movies and soap operas from South Korea being smuggled over the Chinese border and sold in black markets in Pyongyang. Although the price of being found with such Western media is a public execution, defectors say that this underground culture is blooming all over the northern part of the peninsula.
I wonder what people like that - those who've never strayed out of the country - think about the outside world. What do they think of the bustling business districts, with towering concrete and glass behemoths? What do they think of the people talking to each other in some unknown tongue? Are our dramas and comedy shows enough to prove that we're not savages?

Throwback to my GW
I had so much fun during my GW this year. I couldn't have fun GW last year since I was studying for entrance examination of university. Even though the length of it was shorter than other universities, I could enjoy myself. I met some of my friends from my old school. I could go to several different places. Also, it was my first holiday after entering university, so I could hang out with my new friends from university, too. There wasn't a day to waste. I'm looking forward to enjoying the next big holiday, summer vacation.

My golden week:)
School started again today and golden week finished yesterday which is so sad:( So here are what I did in my golden week.
On the first day of golden week aka Sunday, I went shopping to Lalaport Fujimi which just opened on April 10th with Rachel. We were window shopping, but I mainly went shopping in Adidas Originals, Hollister Fujimi, and Lowrys Farm. In Adidas Originals, I bought brand new purple back pack, because I felt like I need one for school since I've been carrying Michael Kors black leather bag since I entered university and back pack is so much better for your back bone since I do ballet. In Hollister Fujimi, since some of my friends were working there and it was AAA week which is the week that associates get 50% off for all the items we purchase in Hollister stores, I bought some clothes there. In Lowrys Farm, which is the Japanese clothing store, I was going to buy silver and white heel, but since it was sold out, I ordered them to bring it from another store and call me when they are ready. Lastly, we went to eat lunchish dinner in Komeda and had fun chatting.
On the second day, I reunited with one of my friend from when I was in Japanese elementary school which is before I even started living in Shanghai, China. Even though we were keeping in touch by messaging, since we haven't seen each other face to face for 8 years, she told me that she felt as if she met me for the first time. We went into Freshness burger and were literally chatting for 2 hours talking about our life experience over 8 years and was able to fill in our blank of 8 years:) I feel like it's so nice to keep in touch with old friends for so long and stay friends for so long. My dad actually told me that he respects and admires me that I actually keep in touch with many old friends and reunite with them.
On the third day, I was watching You Tube, reading magazine, and day dreaming about my life goal all day. Even though it doesn't seem like a productive day to other people, I thought it was actually a productive day and it's nice to sometime be alone at home putting no make up, tying my hair up in a ponytail and wearing comfortable clothes doing things I like.
On the last day of golden week, which was yesterday, I went to walk around China Town eating some Chinese food with Kasumi. I was missing Shanghai so much that it was nice meeting Chinese people there and eating yummy Chinese food:) But since we got full after an hour or so, we went back to Shibuya to chat in Starbucks.
Overall, I feel like my golden week was pretty productive week.

Old Stuff
I found several old books. The first one is a "Manual of Conversation" published in the Taisho era. I think it was published in around 1919. I found it interesting that although the English is pretty much what it is like today, the Japanese uses old Kanji and old use of Hiragana.
This is a different music sheet for practicing the organ. The Japanese is old and very interesting to read.
Golden Weeeeeeeeeeeeek!
Yesterday, my family and I went to Baji Kouen where we saw horse shows and races.
There was a certain race in which participants in teams of three would try to jump over all the obstacles in collaboration. Each team also had a theme and dressed up as the characters from movies or anime. There was Lupin the Third, Alice in Wonderland, The Mario brothers, Cinderella, and even Star Wars.
The team with the best costumes were also given a prize, disregarding their performance at the race.
The sun was so hot that even though I had lots of sunscreen on, my face became red from the sunburn. Ah well, I had a great time.

Oktapodi short film
I enjoy these short films so much! They're so funny and cute. Although the characters don't say much you can almost understand everything they're trying to say through the sounds and facial expressions.
The main characters of this film is the two octopuses. One is male and one is female. They are in a tank at a Fisherman's market. They love each other very much. However one day the female octopus is taken away. The film basically is about the conflict between the octopuses and the man who came to take one away. Another conflict is about the male octopus fighting against the environment around him. Realistically an octopus out of water cannot move however, this octopus chases after the man's car to rescue his one true ocktapodi. They manage to escape thus the conflict between the man and the octopuses begin. In the end the two octopuses get stuck on a wire and the angry man's car keeps moving forward and drives off into the ocean. At last they are free and reunited! Than the irony of the story, a seagull comes out of no where and picks up the male octopus. This time the female octopus is left alone! It was her turn to rescue the male octopus. And so the conflict or the struggle to be together begins once again.
I'm not sure what the lesson or point of the story really is however, my opinion is that love conquers all and to support each other and love each other in sickness or in health, through the good and the bad is the message that the creator of this film was trying to portray. And that life is full of struggles, disappointments but if you love someone it doesn't matter! You do whatever it takes. I think that the octopuses represent people and the man, the environment and the seagull represent the obstacles and struggles through out life.

Oktapodi assignment
About the story:
The story is about a male octopus trying to rescue his love, a female octopus, from the clutches of a fishmonger. The octopus couple is peacefully enjoying their time together when the fishmonger grabs after the female octopus to sell her as great cooking material. The male octopus starts panicking and tries to chase the fishmonger to rescue the female octopus. In the dangerous chase the fishmonger loses control of his car and falls into the sea. The octopuses are save because they were caught by a clothesline. At the end however, a seagull appears and takes away the male octopus.
About the six Literary Terms:
The story takes place on the streets of a Mediterranean country where octopus is often eaten. The male octopus tries to get his partner back from the fishmonger so here the main conflict is octopus vs. fishmonger, means animal vs. person. What confuses me is the seagull which is naturally an animal. So there is another conflict between the octopus and the seagull. (Person vs. animal vs. animal? )
Throughout the story, the wild chase of the fishmonger builds up tension until the climax where the fishmonger falls into the sea with his car. Now, the symbol of the story was not easy for me to determine. I think the octopus symbolizes life and the fishmonger and seagull symbolize obstacles in life.
When the octopuses think they are save and have overcome their obstacle (fishmonger), another new obstacle(seagull) appears. It starts all over again like a circle. Thus the theme of the story is that you can never know what will happen in life so be aware. In life you will continuously encounter obstacles.
The irony of the story is that the male octopus himself, after rescuing the female octopus, is caught by a seagull.
Oktapodi
Two octopuses were loving each other, but a female octopus was caught by a fishmonger. A male octopus thought she will be killed, so he tried to get her back desperately. They helped each other and finally they were saved. Then, although I thought they could get through a crisis, a male octopus was caught by a bird. But, female octopus never gave up. She threw herself at the bird. The main characters are two octopuses. Setting is in Greece during the daytime. Conflict is two octopuses vs. a man/a bird. Climax is that the octopuses defeated both man and bird. Irony is that a man seems to be stronger than octopuses, but finally he fell into the sea. Theme is Don't give up however severe the situation is. A fishmonger and a bird are the symbols of severe situation.
book report
I've started reading book for the book report, but it is very difficult for me. I think I can't read through the book without using dictionary. To be honest, I don't want to read a book written in English, but I think this experience will make me more intelligent, so I'll do my best.
By the way, I'm going to eat out with my friends tonight. I'm very looking forward to meeting them.

Golden Week assignment Oktapodi
This short film is about two octopus who are in love with each other. These two octopus fight for their lives and from all the events thats tries to separate them. The setting is in the morning or evening near town which is close to the ocean river.
There are two main characters and they are both octopus. One is the orange octopus and the other is pink. The conflict is that the pink octopus gets taken away from the chef. The orange octopus knows that it will get cooked and eaten so it tries to do whatever it can to save the pink octopus. In the end, the two octopus success on getting the chef away from them. The chef ends up falling into the ocean with his car and the octopus ends up together happily.
One of the symbol I got from watching this film is the meaning of ocean. The ocean can be symbolised for emotion and feelings that are usually not visible. So, the two octopus's feeling for each other are seen from this event.
The irony is when the seagull takes the orange octopus away from the pink octopus. This is an irony because before this occurred they were back to each other. From this short movie, I think that they are trying to tell us to fight for your own live and for someone who is important to you.
Echoes from the past
One of my favorite bands is Slowdive, who make mainly dream pop and shoegaze. Most people might've never heard of those two genres, but should listen to at least one of their songs in order to hear what it sounds like - I think it needs to be heard to be understood.
Slowdive and the rest of the first-wave shoegazers used to be popular for a short time in the early 1990's but then eventually lost popularity in favor of other genres, like britpop and grunge. However, shoegazing is actually starting to make a comeback, right now in the 2010's, thanks somehow to the Internet.
As a result, many people are starting to look for their demos, outtakes, and early recordings. Guess what - I'm one of them. For years, hardcore fans have kept reservoirs of these rare recordings on the quieter corners of the Internet, waiting to be found. It's a serious pleasure to find, after a while of searching, the rare recordings I was looking for. Take this one, for example:
This flexi disc was one of their earliest releases, now out of print and nowhere to be found. Or so I thought - it turns out that someone had saved FLACs (compressed lossless copies) of all the data on the disc!

Golden??
Is everybody enjoying the Golden week?
Not only the Golden week, but I really hate all those long vacations.
It's just because of my club activities.
For those who do sports, long vacations and holidays are a good season for building up.
And for those reasons I have to practice a lot and have a lot more hard practices than the usual days.
When I was in my swimming team during the high school days, I really hated the summer vacation and the turn of the year term holidays.
Looking at all kinds of social networking services, some people returning home, and some seems like enjoying the holiday with friends, but it is kind of a nightmare to me.
Though I'm going to spend a real boring and tiring week, I hope I'll be a better swimmer and do a good job in my summer competitions.
Thanks

Night before the game
Tomorrow I'll be playing a tournament at my tennis school! It'll be my first tournament since I've graduated high school:) Now that I'm not playing tennis everyday, I'm not sure if I could play as when I was a high schooler. But it doesn't care. I'm gonna try my best to win!! Everyone, have a nice rest of the GW!!!
music
Music means to me a lot in my life. I used to play many instruments such as piano, violin, clarinet, bass guitar, and harmonica. I also love to listen to music or to sing. I sing songs of almost any genres. To sing songs, I often go to karaoke with my friends or sometimes alone. I can't resist myself to go there. I sometimes sing at home, too. Singing gets rid of all my stresses and gives me strength. There's nothing bad about singing unless you have a sore throat. I wish I could have more time so that I can sing more and listen to more music.

New acquaintances
Oh my gosh recently we have had so much homework and being so busy I almost forgot about the blog! Oops ha! Anyways I'll like to talk about some new friends I made yesterday. One of my friends I hadn't seen in two years was in the area and invited me to a gathering. There was him, my friend, five other japanese and the rest of the people there were foreigners. Most of my foreigner friends being people I've known since childhood, it was fun to meet other foreigners outside of school. There were Americans, a Bulgarian and a national Japanese man but with an Australian accent. Later I found out he lived in Australia for a while thus the accent.
Most of the people there were much older than me however, I was able to ask many questions about work life and life after collage. One woman I spoke with was a translator and she had just recently come back from London. I want to become a translator or interpretor in the future but as a job I fear that opportunities are becoming less and less with the growing modern technology and machines. However being able to listen to this woman's personal experiences I feel more reassured. She gave me lot of information and advice as well. I'm glad I was able to meet her.
Later we went to karaoke all together. We sang old songs like eye of the tiger and it's my life. Most of the time when I go karaoke with my friends I am the only one singing English songs. It was fun to sing old classic songs with people who knew them as well. We didn't care how good we could sing. Everyone just sang at the top of their lungs all together! It was so loud and so crazy but I had so much fun. I'm glad I went and was able to meet so many amazing people.

Oktapodi
First of all, This video reminded me of Finding Nemo.
Two octopuses in the water tank were loving each other. Suddenly, they were tore apart, because a certain chef was gonna cook one of them. The octopus who was robbed of his girlfriend rushed outside to catch up. After many twists and turns, he and she managed to escape from the evil hands of the chef, and the chef was so devoted to catch them that he finally fell into the sea. This point surely is the irony of this story.
Main characters are the two octopuses loving each other and the man who tries to cook them.
I guess that setting is today's Greece cuz I saw white painted houses and I heard that the Greek eat octopuses. Conflict is needless to say, but it's between two octopuses and the chef. This video made me excited and feel like climax all through the story. Symbol....symbol.....are there any symbols? I'm sorry but I can't find any. I'll wait for everyone's opinion. Theme is "Don't care about little things such as octopuses or you'll be in trouble.''
Just an aside, that female octopus is my favorite. I guess she's more tough than her partner.
Just an aside, that female octopus is my favorite. I guess she's more tough than her partner.
Oktapodi
The basic story is about two octopuses who help each other to survive the danger. The main characters are the two octopuses. One is orange and the other is pink. The setting is in a modern town near the ocean. The conflict is where the pink octopus is being kidnapped by a man with a truck. The climax is where the man and the truck falls into the ocean. I think the actions of two octopuses symbolize cooperation. The irony is where the seagull kidnaps the orange octopus even though the two octopuses were once thought to be away from danger. I think the theme is that we must always help each other and that it is almost impossible for us to live alone.
