Oktapodi

Setting: in Greece, 2007 (year that the movie was made)

Characters: the Orange Octopus, the Pink Octopus, and the Human
The Orange Octopus and the Pink Octopus are in love with each other. The Human is a predator. He wants to cook the octopus.

Conflict: The octopuses want to be together, but the human separates them. He takes the Pink one to cook.

Climax: two octopuses survive from being cooked and eaten. The human falls into the sea.

Symbols: Octopus; symbol of food, bravery

Irony: Two octopuses survive but when they think they can finally be together, a seagull take the Orange one away.

Theme: Be grateful for food. I think this film wants to tell us that food also has feeling and to be thankful for being able to eat pretty much anything we want. That is why the ungrateful human falls into the sea.
