The story takes place in a place where imagination is thought as a sin. The main characters are a boy who likes imagination and a fish which turns into a mermaid. The boy was arrested because of the law of the place where he lives. He then was taken away his ability of imagination. He managed to escape the prison and he sets off to the sea with the fish which he though as a mermaid. At the end people were astonished because the imagination of the fish turning into a beautiful mermaid turned out to be true.
The main theme of this story is that even if every one around you says that what you think is wrong, you should never just give up and stop thinking. And also people are not suppose to and should not take away the rights of imagining something in any way.
