mirage

The movie "Mirage"was trying to express about the necessities for human. In the movie, the robot boy was about to die when his energy(water) was almost gone. This represents how humans are being alive by some kind of energy for example food. Next, the boy found a tap water and decided to climb to the top to get water from there. This shows that human are always searching for what they want which I agree to Yusaku's opinion that it is implying humans possessiveness.
I felt this movie was trying to let us understand the connection between the human and the nature.
And I also agree to Kotaro's opinion which says that we tend to overlook what we really have to cherish when we are fulfilled with our necessities. For example, in the movie, the boy broke the tap water to charge his energy without thinking about the tree. But when he heard the tree's anger voice, he stopped filling his body with water because he realized that the fish also needed water to survive.
