Setting -small village in Senegal
Conflict -Binta was able to go to school because her father lets her, but her cousin Soda cannot attend school because her father believes that girl should stay at home and do the house work.
Climax - After the play that village children acted, Soda was so impressed and asked her father if she can go to school and study. However, her father said no again. Then all the people who was watching the play started to yell at her father to let Soda go to school to study.
Symbol - the bird was the symblo of the freedom
