The Lost Thing

Setting- One summer day at the beach, a long time ago.

Point of view- It was told from a first person point of view.

Conflict- The lost thing vs. society.
Nobody except for a man seemed to care about the lost thing.
Furthermore, there seemed to be anywhere for the lost thing to belong to.

Climax- The moment when the man turns a golden key slowly and a door begin to move gradually.

Symbols- Bells and trains.
The former for the voice, hope, farewell, and warning.
The latter for the noisiness, busyness, and fastness of our world nowadays.

Irony- Although the lost thing couldn't find a place that was suitable, it found one in the end.

Theme- In my opinion, I believe that the film was telling us that helping each other is important. In addition, I thought that even though there are times when you think it is hard to bear the situation, there is always a right place for you, so don't give up. We live in such a noisy, busy, and fast world that we tend to forget these importance. Sometimes there are situations that nobody understands you and feel lost. You might want to cry or raise a voice. However, life is full of meeting and parting. I thought that the creator was telling us that there are always some people who will be at your side, so have positive attitudes.
