Mermaid

Fortunately, I was able to watch the movie Mermaid so I can white the literally terms.


Setting: sometime in a country where dreaming is not allowed

Conflict: a dreaming boy vs the strict society

Climax: the boy and a small fish went into the sea and they changed into mermaids

Symbol: the fish means a real and the mermaid does dreaming and imagination

Irony: the government tried to make the boy forget the mermaid and think about only real but the boy became a mermaid which he continued believing and once being about to forget.

Theme: the imagination mustn't be limited. we all can have freedom of thought
