The lost thing

The setting of this story is a town by the beach. The main character is a boy who likes to collect bottle tops, and he finds a huge strange looking creature, the lost thing, by the seashore. He tries to find where it belongs to, but others in the town don't pay attention to it at all. The climax is when he found a place where many other creatures like the lost thing is living in. The place seemed to be like a utopia, and he had finally parted from the lost thing at the end.
I think that this short film is warning us that we tend to turn our eye's only to big events and things, and these days we are forgetting the fact that there are full of little happiness and things around us. Watching the film, I thought that people are too busy or maybe they got too used to the sight. Like the people who didn't pay attention to the creature, I feel that I'm too busy to see little things around me, especially after entering a new school.
