Stanley pickle

I thought this story was dark and bright at the same time.
The point of view was by the third person.
The conflict was stanley vs.himself to grow up.
I thought the symbols was his room as a symbol of childhood.The bird was a symbol for somthing that was important for the girl.
The climax is when Stanley finaly went outside with adventure.
The irony is when he thought making the dead bird back to life would make the girl happy but it didn't.
The theme is that everyone have to grow up someday.
