The Lost Thing


Main Character: A young man who finds a lost thing at the beach
Setting: an industrialized city in Europe, it is in the past after the industrial revolution, during the late the late 20th century
Point of View: First person
Symbol: Smog symbolizes pollution
            fabrics symbolize industrialization
            The red color symbolizes vividness and emotion
Conflict: The young man and the lost thing vs. society
Climax: The young man finally finds a place where "the lost thing" can belong to
Irony: The "lost things" weren't actually lost, human only stopped noticing them
Theme: Human are lost in a gray and emotionless world which consists of work, technology and industry so that they don't notice how beautiful the world can be
