Mermaid

Characters: The boy, mermaid (fish), family, government

Setting: Near future

In the short film, the boy imagines the fish to be a mermaid, and tells his family, but they don't believe him. The place where he is in, does not allow imagination to be real. In the end the boy sets the fish (mermaid) to the ocean and sets off, while everyone else just looks at him.

The boy wants the society to believe him, but the society doesn't allow his imagination to be real.

I believe the boy's imagination is fantasy, and the society being cruel to him his the reality.

In the end, I think the boy dies due to his imagination.

After watching this, I thought society now, where a thought that is special would be thought of as nonsense. The society should be more open to ideas.
