Am I alive?
away in my mind
a question, it irks
curiosity lurks
it killed the cat
now the one in the hat
won't listen to me
"I’ll do as I please"
he says and sets ablaze with glee
my fantasy
my reality
they’re crumbling
and shattering
as I fall of the ledge
the glinting edge
of the looking glass
it flashes past
I peer inside
and catch my eye
I’m not alive
Am I?
